Who gives a f**k about last summer? We sold them and did better than ever. It's water under the bridge and those players were all replaced more than adequately bar Lallana.

I know of no Saints fan who believed we would finish higher this season than we did last. I also know of no Saints fan who didn't fully expect MS & NC to leave (the Toby thing was a pis*ser mind you). Also, the Saints fans I know, understand that we've a CB coming in and two very key players to come back into the side. It's not as if we're not attempting to build but, IMHO, only a utter blinkered fool (& MLG) believes we can break into the top six. Personally I'd settle for 12-8 and a proper cup run.

201km ride (1900m vertical) yesterday taking in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Leicstershire, Derbyshire & Staffordshire again. Finished up at a place called Scot Hay which is high up in north Staffs for my lads cricket, it has cracking views across the Cheshire plain. Had planned to ride the 35km back home as well as it was more or less downhill for 25km of the 35km but the intense thunder and lightening put pay to that. Bike went on the wife's car.
