  1. It should be yellow and blue. End of.
  2. Picardy is worth riding around. All the WW1 stuff including The Somme.
  3. I've binned Sky Sports and just use BT and the other free sports channels. My high speed broadband, phone and TV comes in at £56.. That's with Virgin.
  4. If you ever get the opportunity to ride in France then do so. I've ridden in the north but never the south but it's awesome. Fantastic traffic free roads and any cars give you so much space. That said the 1st 25km of today's ride was the hardest I think I've ever done as hills, including 16% and 20% ramps in 30c heat, nearly killed me. I'm better suited to Spring Classics weather. https://www.strava.com/activities/360207588
  5. This is an excellent summary.
  6. I was 17 when we played away in Hamburg. It was a real eye opener!
  7. Good manager who did a good job at Saints. Only time will tell is the poison chalice that is Spurs claims another victim quickly.
  8. We're clearly going to get another CB so change your sheets and man up FFS.
  9. Personally I think it's a canny signing. Usual bellends are having a moan though.
  10. I'm feeling quite smug about doing the Newhaven - Dieppe route on Friday instead of the usual tunnel crossing.
  11. You seem surprised.
  12. Or everything starting "well, yes".
  13. I'm loyal to Eurosport BECAUSE they do all of the cycling. No chance of seeing the Tour of Poland live on ITV 4 or The Tour Of The Arctic for that matter, both of which were excellent last year.
  14. Whoo Hoo. Go them.
  15. All of Scandinavia.
  16. It's not a real life version of FM15.
  17. First 100miler since the week before the crash. Bimble down to the club with a club with a couple of the lads, decent enough club ride but was gassing towards the back when the quicks shot off and despite burying myself couldn't close the last 100m. Another 100km with a couple of my usual riding partners with some seriously brutal efforts at full race pace and into the wind before a bimble back from the shop. Legs went pop with about 10km to go so just spin out from there. Nearly 50% at threshold and 13% at anaerobic. Fair to say that the hip is sorted. https://www.strava.com/activities/353687919/segments/8418135588
  18. That was a bit good.
  19. It should be geared towards learning through play but I know, as you do, that's not really how it's going to develop. That said, for a large number of kids, it will give them a learning environment that they will lack as home.
  20. And there in lies the nub. Save a few quid on childcare for the few or help those who need it. I'm no tory but even I think it's a sound policy for both economic, social and educational reasons.
  21. Partly. It's also to do with child development. I don't necessarily agree with it but I can see the why's and the wherefore's.
  22. No, it wouldn't, for a myriad of reasons.
  23. Childcare costs won't come down regardless. Anyone is the business, Hypo for one, can explain why. You clearly also fail to understand why the government want to subsidise childcare.
  24.
  25. If that makes you feel warm and fuzzy then feel your boots.
