IPA actually.

I'm of the opinion that many activists, especially in the heartlands, tolerated the tory lite Labour party when it was winning but underneath they never really wanted it or agreed with it. Now that they are in a proper opposition position they can throw off the shackles and move the party where they really want it, back to the left. This of course alienates swathes of the electorate whose natural position is centre or left of centre but I get the impression from those I know what they see it as a cathartic cleansing of the party and a return to its roots.

I'm leftie, have a comfortable life and have no wish to be rich but the wealthiest man I know by far, who posts on here, is far more left wing than me.

I'm not disagreeing but the mess they are now in was totally predictable when Ed won and David didn't. Big election defeat, the battle between traditional and Blairite etc, lurches to the left, members wanting to reclaim what they view as a radical position to separate their identity from that of the tories.

Labour activists won't listen to Blair as most despise him and would have him up in the Hague as a war criminal. Labour needs to move itself towards a Social Democrat model along the European lines and not either too far left, although I understand the appeal that it has for activists, nor as tory lite. How they do it I've not a clue. Personally I believe Labour doomed themselves when Ed and not David was elected and that it's to Londoncentic and detached from its heartlands and core vote.

Good hilly session today so should be 100% by the Pyrenees.

Got so say that that game didn't look much like a pre-season friendly to me. Much more intense and thought that, on the whole, we were excellent.

F**k me, their delusion knows no end.

Got mine in about 5 mins just now from logging on to printing off. Only downside is my lad wants to be in the Northam.

What an utterly f**ked up country. http://www.rawstory.com/2015/07/angry-man-with-loaded-ar-15-terrifies-bystanders-in-quarrel-with-black-protester-at-confederate-statue/#.Va-r3OA4XCQ.twitter

I'll have an adult and an U16 in the Saints section BUT I'm not 100% sure that I can actually get to the game yet. If I can't & due to where I'm getting them from, they will be available for collection in Arnhem. I won't know for sure until very late next week or the early part of the following week but I'll offer them on here, at cost of course, first. Don't PM me for them now as that'll only succeed in f**king me off.

Just found out that I'm in Soton that night before heading to France so that means the lad and I can go. Happy days.

People whinge about career politicians (of all shades) and then moan about a conviction politician.

The more interesting debate is how the young view the world compared to us oldies. Amazing how so many of then see the world as a much smaller and open place than the oldies and consider living and working abroad as quite normal and are so much more liberal in terms of race, religion, sexuality and the like. One thing is for sure, you can certainly tell the pub bore on this thread.

Yep. I remember the baying for JC away at Fulham when Vic was coming back from injury as was a bit iffy. -
The hip is getting stronger. Another week and I reckon it'll be sorted.
