Sincerely, congratulations on your fine naval career. Not sure what your successful CV and fine career has to do with comments about being a wet fanny for thinking off dumping a ST after so many years just because you don't agree with the transfer policy. lets be honest how many of out transfer policies have you ever agreed with? Now it seems you have shared the real reason ( the long trek from the new forest) and if that's the case then fair enough but blaming it on your perceived poor transfer policy in my opinion makes you a wet fanny. Not sure the term "wet fanny" is really classed as abuse to be fair (well not in my opinion again). Anyway enjoy your well earned retirement whatever you decide to do with it now you are giving up watching football.

The wet fannies are out in force today I see.

I have to be honest, i know very little about this player (jackson) other than the stats and a short video clip. seems everyone is judging already. All I would like to say is 95% of the fan base was judging Mad Nath on his previous club and 4 early games stating he was shit, out of his depth and clueless etc. Turns out that most have had to take a quiet moment of pause. Maybe we could try this again before we start frothing at the mouth and screaming at him. The obvious caveat to this comment is we all judged Carillo before his first game and we were spot on. funny old game football.

Oh my, I’ve only just stopped laughing after your last joke about Xg. What a crowd pleaser.
-
If i could be arsed I would go back through you posts and see if you made similar comments about any of Danny Ings goal where closed down the keeper and scored off the back of it. I suspect that doesn't fit your narrative though.

A bit like Gakpo did in his full debut against Brighton this weekend 😂

Yes it was dreadful against forest as bad as i can remember. Fans were rightly angry. But goals change games and if we hadn't given them a soft goal then the fans wouldn't have jumped on their backs during the game, the atmosphere woudlnt have been so toxic and their already fragile confidence smashed yet further down. Now look at Palace, one down its starting to get toxic but we get a lucky goal from a FK and the game changes for the better. I do understand our support is also effected by the levels of perceived effort during the game as well. Fans have a massive part to play in our relegation battle and i just hope we can keep the toxicity out of our support and help the club turn the corner.

Really interesting presser. I like what he has to say, what he wants to build and we are starting to see the things in the team that he thinks are important. Im fully on-board. Looking forward to going to Everton for more of the same.
-
He maybe be a fan but he is also a manager going public with comments on both a manager and player of another team suggesting that they are both shit. Totally unprofessional and deserved to be called out on it.
-
Yeah maybe a sense of solidarity and coming together of the team and manger after the crowd started boooing poor touches and long balls during the game rather than getting behind the team. isnt profession my arse. Fans treated him like shit, get personal and don’t like it when the spikey fucker gives it both barrels back. Why not just swallow your pride and accept sometime things take a little time to turn before you see green shoots. “you don’t know what your doing”, well it seems like he might do. I swear some fans want to see it all go wrong just so they don’t have to admit that maybe the judged too quickly.

Saints 2-0 Man City - The Treble is STILL on!
wild-saint replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
But but but he is out if his depth, he doesn’t know what he is doing. early days but he is starting to in-still some fight and spirit into this side. -
Agree with this. Most of the whinnying is from the fans that read selected quotes from Saints Extra on twitter and can’t even be bothered to to listen /read the entire Transcript including the actual questions asked. I actually like the fact that he has enough fight I’m him to give it back. Let’s hope he can instil that fight into the team. brighton and forest were fucking terrible but Fulham and Palace were better. Let’s hope we see improvement each game.
-
Each to their own I guess. I didnt think we were shit. I hope we get some better players in but I’m happy enough with the performance and hope we can take some confidence and move forward.

No pleasing some of the idiots on here.

Fuxk me they need to buy a new keeper
-
yeah i was just pulling your leg really. I Thought its was fairly decent subject to us signing a striker which obviously never happened and was one of two major fuck ups. The 2nd being selling OR when we knew Lavia was injured. My biggest disappointment was Aribo, although the lack of other clubs interested in him at a bargain price of £6-8m or always raised a red flag to me. Lets hope we get it right this January.
-
I tend to agree but cant help smile at the irony of you rating our last transfer window as an 8/10
-
Totally agree. And as bad a Lyanco has been at times to suggest that he wouldn't get in his Havant side is ridiculous and takes away any credibility from this interview in my opinion. DCC was truly woeful and kind of justifies why he was playing Lyanco. On a positive note for Lyanco, I would suggest it looks like he is one of the few that actually gives a shit right now.

Saw a tweet from Zagreb fan saying that in a 352 he would play left of the front 2 and has been an effective threat. Also mentioned that if he played as the LWB he would be very in effective.
-
Imagine the melt down if we signed a forward for £22m who had scored only 2 goals in 12 appearances. Shares in proctor & gamble would take shift upwards with Nappy sales flying.

Exactly, surely everyone understands that every club will be aware of every player available and either this player is already on thier short list of targets or not. Ultimately its down to the club to convince them that their club is the right move for them. this would be a combination of wages and their feeling of the clubs potential and how they fit in to the plans. I seem to remember a number of comments from previous players that had signed for NJ that he created detailed bespoke presentations of how he wanted the player to fit into his plans that swung them to choosing Luton over better financial offers. Maybe we will start to see some of the skills that he has benefit our transfer plans.?

This post sums up the weak minded millennials. Apologies if you aren’t about 15 but you should stop acting like one. The older generation appreciate what is needed to get out of this hole. Back in the day it wasn’t considered a relegation battle until there were circa 10 ganes to go. For what its worth i fancy us to win against Forest.

Bloody hell. Im sat on the train hone from the game reading the bollocks on here wondering if i had watched a different game. comments above pretty much mirror my thoughts. The team certainly had some fight as well and clearly havent given up on the manager like most if the fans. the fact is we need 2/3 new players and if they come in quick enough we have a chance. Endozie had a decent game but was done and fortunately we hd no options on the be ch to replace him. certainly less farting around at the back draining the tempo out if the game. unlucky not to get a point and hopefully not too disheartened.

Dry your eyes, mate. I know it's hard to take but her mind has been made up ! 3 points off safety with 20+ games to go.

Where did I say it was easy? it’s clearly not. I agree with your sentiments about struggling to establish, attract players etc. but here’s the thing, I never said I wanted us to go down I’m merely pointing out this clubs current state is rotten and needs to be built back from the bottom up (and ideally staying up) I moved on to point out the positive sides of our club should NJ fail to rebuild quick enough to stop us getting relegated. So the question is, do I think the best option right now is to stick with NJ and his long term vision or do we fire him now and replace e him with someone else. Personally I’m happy to let this play out for better or worse but it’s nothing to do with your assumption that I have some warped logic that it’s better that we go down first. I’m do however think if the worst case happens and we go down that we will be in a good place to come back quickly. happy to debate any reasons why we will be down there for years as some Fannie’s think.
