God help us. People now making cases for having aribo up front. You absolutely know that armada will get injured at Sunderland leaving us with only Tall Paul.
-
how many more seasons of this shyte will we have to wade through? schools back on Monday i guess
-
exactly this. everyone hanging off twitter posts as if they are even remotely accurate. sounds like games by club and agent to get a better deal.
-
oh my I laughed so hard on that one. Comedy these days
-
Thats a big assumption right there. its obvious someone other than Everton will come in with 48 hours of the window left and we will be left scrabbling around for an overpriced underwhelming replacement after all our targets have got bored of waiting for us to make our move.
-
Im not sure his goal scoring ability is in question, for me its more his touch and mobility that is lacking at this level.
-
Probably Swansea / player trying to push the process along and increase the price by trying show multiple interest. I would have thought Swansea know he is going to leave and want it done ASAP so they can focus on a replacement as the windows comes to a close.
-
I think you also need to factor in the possibility that he gets a long term injury whilst in the last year of his contract. For his own security its probably a wise move taking a new 3 year deal at improved wages. The thing is he has to get his head around is he is at club that has reasonable chance of going down. Bournemouth would be a better move for him. Personally i think the club are in a better place with regards identifying decent talent and letting him go isnt a big risk.
-
If we dont loosen the purse strings i fear we wont unless we sell him to a premier league team.
-
Adam’s is replaceable but the question is do we have the appetite to spend what is needed to adequately replace him. If the answer is yes the. It’s a no brainier to let him go.
-
exactly, I'm unsure how we coped with all their pace throughout the side.
-
no onside.

These are my thoughts exact thoughts on the situation. The only thing I would add is I’m not confident there is any real intent to spend the money collected other than on cheap loans and low cost purchases. I hope I’m wrong and in the next two weeks we see some quality that turns us into a promotion chasing team. In reality I see Tella, Adam’s, KWP, ABK and Sulemana getting sold. That will be well over 200m recovered, investment recovered and a free club. the hope will be that the young players develop over the next 2/3 years into a team capable of challenging.
-
If that was true then why didnt jones play him? It’s all one big fuck up and the price we have to pay is relegation and selling off all our decent players to pay for it.
-
No one wants to hear about the chicks footy team. question 1 - are you going to spend any of the cash you are raking in or are you trying to claw back your investment? question 2 . Assuming cash will be spent will you buy a capable keeper, striker and centre back ? No other information is needed.
-
What is the way to get promoted with that squad of players, Detail please?
-
oh yes sorry my mistake , you are right we are fucking shyte going forward.
-
Awesome going forward, defensively a disaster. Alcaraz is unplayable in this league. IF there were any prem scouts at the game then he will be gone by the end of the month. The new set piece coach has got his work cut out. Sell ABK or bedders quickly and bring in some strength / pace at CB.
-
If we are so confident that lavia and JWP will be sold at the prices we expect then why are we needing to wait to get replacements? It seems the prices we have received to date are much less than those non negotiable prices we were led to believe we’re in place a few weeks ago. Selling Lavia for £50m isnt a Wilcox masterclass it’s the going rate for a top top player. Smells like a Cash grab following a failed attempt at a premier league project. Maybe once the money is recovered they will try and build using the talented kids or maybe they will sell. The one thing is doesnt feel like is that they are building something particularly leaving it until late in the transfer window to bring in a squad capable of automatic promotion. I suspect we will have a mid table squad by the end of September with promises of it being a longer term project to get us back. I think if we lose Tella, smallbone and alcaraz over the next 2 weeks my suspicions will confirmed. I just can’t see how we can possibly replace them with like for like without spending twice as much. mat least in around 2 weeks we will know.
-
Different as In a lot more shit Than it is now is what he means.
-
I have suspected this for a while and half expect alcaraz to go as well. we will be left with all the real shyte. the only real question for me is will we spend enough if it to remain competitive or will they keep it and pay off all the money they have spent and some.
-
If SR really have their sights on promotion they should use 5m of the Tino cash for JWPs wages for another year and tell him he ain’t going to West Ham.
-
Thanks for confirming what wrote. The valuations they have set seem to reflect decent value for the seller and but not particularly overpriced for the buying club. Our valuations certainly don't seem to be at a level where we are actively discouraging players leaving. In TL case the media messages from local ITK journalists seemed to suggest he was happy to stay, so why are we selling at any price? I hope we don't receive a bid of circa £30m for Alcaraz as I suspect they will take it when he has also indicated he is happy to stay.
-
Great deal my arse. Top player and if Newcastle felt there was a risk of the injury recurring or him not being the player he was before his injury then they wouldn't fork out £40m. SR seem to be happy to sell anyone that meets their valuation. Assuming we get acceptable bids for JWP, Lavia, KWP, Sulamana, Alcaraz, Tella, Adams then we will be left with the absolute dross. I can only assume the only reason Alcaraz isnt likely to be going is because he actually wants to stay rather than the club saying we wont sell. Time will tell how much of any money generated will be spent on decent quality replacements.
-
and that is the reason we wont accept less than £40m IMO. I reckon he has been told he can go with our blessing if the price is right otherwise get the fuck on with it and get us back up. Lavia is a different ball game because someone will give us £50m in fear of someone else taking him and potentially missing out on a future world class talent.
