did that report not say in a meeting on the Monday (before bor) that TE requested detail on whether HH was playing? he also wasnt impressed that the analyst didnt watch the training on wednesday which is outside the 72 hour period as training in the morning. Sounds like the analyst dept fucked up and there is no clear evidence that TE requested spying on that thursday. All the intern statements were woolly like "i didnt really have the option to say no" but in the next breath refused to spy on ipswich which didnt lead to his sacking but continued to do what was asked of him at boro. sounds like the witnesses were covering their own arses a little with their statements. I think saints will be using this stuff to try and protect TE from being banned, essentially asking for information and relying on the analyst dept to know what & how they can get it within regulations.

I think the point is we had a budget of circa 100-120m to spend but 45 or so of that was spent on securing 2 players without improving the squad. This time round we would have had a largely better permanent squad and the c120m could have been spent improving it.

Oh really, Im sure you could come up with a decent manager and convince him to join but SR track record of managers is so poor they seem to have fluked Tonda Eckert but struggling for any others. Kind of suggests that if SR make the choice then its likely to end in failure. For that reason I couldnt care who he bullied (if true), give him a slap on the wrist and get him on the training field. Any other decision is more than likely end up on a fucking tragic season like every other one they have managed.

The fucking massive flaw in your plan is who is making the decision on who this "Decent Manager" is, will he join us and how do we know that he will be a decent manager. Or subject to a ban, keep the guy that we know 100% is a decent manager.

Fucking amateur that a business the size of Southampton has a IT / Data Leak Protection policies allowing either internal information to be transferred to personal devices and / or allows company devices / employees to use application not controlled by them such as fucking WhatsApp. i say it again it’s fucking amateur. Aside the cheating and toxic working environment what i find is how amateur the club is in terms of their operations teams. Seemingly it appears it’s the Whatapp chat history remaining on the phones of employees tha provided the evidence of previous incidents. FFS, why are the club employees allowed to use 3rd party apps not controlled by the club? Provide them company phones, lock them down to approved apps, personal phones have the company controlled app that can be wiped on exit from their jobs. Absolute basic IT security as part of your Data Leak Protection Policies. Absolute amateur hour.

it sounds like its systemic within the club and if you remove anyone that either is involved or knew about it we would have an empty trainign ground bar the physio lol

The decent players would have gone whether we lost or not. The rest will be on decent contracts and aren’t swapping contracts with a team that pays less. Sponsorships who knows? But as they say even bad o publicity is good publicity. Correct manager with a decent “project story” and the players will come. I think it will be bumpy but manageable if dealt correctly. Season ticket sales will be down but most will be back after a few wins early doors whilst the real fans sing “where were you when we were shit” all it will take is putting 11 decent players out on the pitch. The champs is shit and so won’t be that hard.

Utter bollox. How many contracts have been torn up because a club have breached financial regulations, I’ll tell you it’s none. The club breached a regulation and been harshly punished for it. Unless there is a specific clause that terminates a contract based on the club being sanctioned for rules breaches then we either sell or they stay.

And if they did have access to digital information, they would want to look at everything like email, texts, WhatsApp’s etc. by the time they redacted any PII any such request would take weeks as a minimum to collect plus months to review.

What exactly do they need to do? Look at a few pics of the lad hiding behind a tree, connect the dots to his linkedIn profile and then time stamp the photos against the start time of the training session. Then think how much did Professor plum in the garden with the Iphone saw in the 7 minutes of stretching / limbering up exercises before he was caught. Then they get out the magic 8 Ball and ask it if points is a fair punishment. FFS no wonder it takes a week to evaluate a VAR Decision
