  1. Why didn't Burnley or Sheffield United need to reset this season?
  2. To be fair like them or not they are all decent managers and i would expect all of them to sound credible when talking about the game.
  3. Sensible approach but no chance the fan base accepts anything but a a promotion charge in year 1. All sounds a bit West Brom to me with dull football to watch.
  4. What does “stabilise us for a while” actually mean though, Is it sit in the top 8 and don’t spend beyond our means or is it a play off chance or are you wanting promotion? if its promotion then what’s next? Stick with them regardless of whether we stay up or not? Genuine question as people always talk about stabilising and then immediately jump on a managers back when they don’t look like achieving the clubs goals.
  5. If one can’t get a credit card due to their credit rating, why would one want the club give them credit?
  6. So do you have a view on whether Will Still would be a good appointment?
  7. Led the club to relegation and abject failure.
  8. Totally agree it killed us. To a lesser extent losing che on a free that we didn’t replace.
  9. Not at all, it stopped me finding the exit until the sunset otherwise id have been gone by halftime.
  10. we did that from kingsland this season and what a fucking mistake that was. worse view, sun in your eyes and only 1 win all season.
  11. Exactly. Play for saints, a new (hoepfully decent) new manager and a squad more than likely to challenge for promotion/ tilte or push for a move to QPR (ahahahaha)
  12. im happy with anyone that demands (and gets) players who are good enough to play at the level we are at.
  13. Totally agree with this. Great start and bags of potential was always going to fade. Add to the fact he is in a team that is probably the worst premier league team in history and its no surprise he looks lost. Of all of RM downfalls his man management style clearly works with some players particularly this lad. I wouldn't be paying £50m right now but they wont have to.
  14. Eh? So you wouldn’t think it was positive if we managed to stay up and Keep the better players and have money to build. Odd view
  15. Same shit different day!

If that bit is true, its absolute proof that SR have no idea what they are doing bearing in mind he has played for both forest and WH this season and there fore literally isn’t allowed to play for a third PL team based on the rules.
  17. But wasn’t it pointless as teams like united started to fly players in which extended the distance to which they could argue that they were within the rules.
  18. bigger and better things? Fulham that's stretching it a bit. £10m now or possibly emulating HR, i think id take the cash.
  19. I think the type of player he is playing in a a style of football RM played meant that his strengths were not required by the team. Much like if you played him as the number 9 in a long ball team. If Martin was staying his only value would be carrying the water bottles. In Jurics system he wants wingers in behind in space in the channels and to run with ball. Pace is king but not required when you expect your winger to turn back and play to the CB if there is no space. Russ ball was always dire to watch and risky but we lucked out in the play offs. in the prem it was a certainty that we would lose most weeks.
  20. Umm. Well I certainly know which answer I’d go for ….. B) he is still shit but playing in a crap league.
  21. SR have lost the plot, Juric is a Poundland version of Nathan Jones and we are now getting rid of the only players that will be capable of getting us back up. Giving a short term contract to a no mark manager and then let him dismantle the squad after 5 consecutive league defeats is frankly scary behaviour from the owner. I see no sense in that sort of decision making at all.
  22. Job title are totally meaningless, it’s the job role / responsibilities that’s important. I have a client that one of the key contacts has a job title of intergalactic commander weirdly. Media company so probably sums it up i guess.
  23. Maybe DR's new contract is a large compensation payable if he is poached by a Prem club but less for a champo club as they feel that is less of a risk. If we are relegated by the summer it may costs less, allow Rohl to finish the seasons attempt at promotion and also mean if we did get him he would start with a clean slate in preseason without the toxic fallout of relegation. So to make sure SW dont go up we should take back Charles in January regardless.
  24. I know nothing about this guy but if he makes us more solid and fitter then that can only be a good thing based on the current shambles. Ultimately the fans (including myself) wanted the manager out and a new style implemented and that's what we have got, so lets see where it leads. Prefer Rohl myself but clearly we weren't paying a large compo fee and i guess he fancies his chances of getting SW into the play offs and then if not he can assess his options at the end of the season. That's what I would have done if I was him unless they offered me a big contract. Saints would still have the option of getting rid at the end of the season if it really didnt work out with only 1 year compo and then chasing DR again. Seems like a sensible move all round.
  25. If we couldn't afford a replacement I think they would have kept Martin regardless of how toxic the fanbase became. What would be the point of paying of a manager if you couldn't afford anyone better.
