This really is turning into a let down with all these players linked and then not signed. I really wish these sort of tweeds were not done then we would be pleasantly surprised. If we get someone in who is a lower quality player then it's just going to feel like a let down.

Not sure if it was just me, but I thought many players like Guly, Hammond and Lambert looked a fair bit leaner than last year and a bit quicker too. Do you think this is Adkins using his skills as a physio to the best effect?

Fantastic result. Also pleasing to see that no one is going overboard as Leeds were pretty poor too. There will be greater tests to come and I still think we needed some more pace and a CB partner. A pacy striker and a CB would give us so much more and we can start thinking of the playoffs. Very positive well done SFC!

So I'm allowed to say I think he looks like a bit of an idiot and that the arrogant attitude that the club (and Cortese ) have displayed over some issues which have reflected negatively on them is typified by Cortese putting himself on the cover without being called a tw*t a c*ck or a bedwetter. It's easier to call me a troll, a t w a t egocentric etc etc rather than debating the points themselves. Rather sums up certain posters on this forum. There used to be a rule on here 'play the ball not the man.' The forum would be a much better place if people followed this even a little bit.

It's likely that I disagree with some of your views. Established posters like Old Nick and Crab Lungs also disagree with me frequently, but unlike you they reply to my posts in a civil manner and often we find some common ground as they try to see both sides of an argument without resorting to abuse.
