  1. Lol. I badly bruised my shins at that game. Best one I'd been to for a while. I went mental when he scored (most of the game I barely remember I was so hammered!)
  2. I totally agree. He would scare the life out of me if I was playing against him. He's so unpredictable.
  3. Yeah it is better quality. He is leaning forward to head the ball when it is knocked on so the top half of his body is ahead of the defender but his back is in line. As you can't watch it though I'm going to claim that it's definitively onside and revel in my victory!
  4. I agree with the likes of Lambert. It might not be genius but signing the right players for the right areas is something hardly any of our managers have managed to do for years and years.
  5. Just paused and resumed it a load of times and he definitely looks onside to me.
  6. When the ball is played though.
  7. Hmm. Interesting debate!
  8. Yeah slipped halo was a decent poster. Also *natsiedoodaa*
  9. Just seen it on saints player. Papa was onside and so technically he did score. Maybe people can think about that before describing his performance as gruesome. Ok he didn't have the best game but he did alright. I like him.
  10. Yep and some pop art painting which was really cool
  11. OK I see you're just going to argue the point and not remove it so I'll leave it then. Just remember that next time you moan about being victimised or insulted. You can't say you haven't been warned. It's comments like the ones above which make people hate you as a poster and which encourages the insults. good night.
  12. Darren and yourself have argued in the past because he believed rightly or wrongly that you were making provocative comments about his mother and her illness. You know that he still thinks that and he has asked you not to bring the subject up. You then create your post above mentioning his mother. However sincerely you meant the comment you must surely realise that it isn't going to go down well. Whether you meant it as an insult or not is not really the issue but you know it's going to cause friction therefore maybe it would be best if it was removed.
  13. Maybe to you but I can guarantee that Darren will not see it that way and it would almost certainly end in an argument. I'm suggesting that you remove the comment to try and avoid one. TBH it's up to you what you do but this is just a bit of helpful advice to stop any unpleasant situations which I would hope you would be keen to avoid
  14. Yes but considering your history with Darren and knowing how he feels about you mentioning his mother, it sounds very much like you are being sarcastic or deliberately provocative. Far better to just delete that line because you know the reaction you will get from it.
  15. Come on 19. No need for that bit about Darren.
  16. Sorry? What does your last bit mean about having UP's card marked?
  17. Ah apparently he is 70 and was last on here on the first of September. Sounds bad, what a shame.
  18. Ah my mistake it's snowballs2
  19. Well I can't find snowballs in the members list anymore. Do the mods know?
  20. Maverick is another one. I'm going to keep adding them as I remember.
  21. Who is the fairly recent poster who found out that they have a terminal illness? Are they still posting? I'd like to know how they are getting on if anyone has any info.
  22. Oh and Javi when Summers was his little pal.
  23. Is franks cousin still a regular contributor? I havent seen one of his giant posts for a good while.
  24. Good post Micky. I suppose even Stanley in his way gave something to the forum. Roger Beeks is another one missing in action (although he was supposedly a copper who legged it when found out.)
  25. wasnt there someone called the grand poh bah or something with a panda as a display pic?
