OMG! Not sure if its been on here yet but there's a letter from this bloke on pompeyonline. He actually uses the phrase 'football first philosophy.' I'm going to die laughing.
Yes I knew someone would say something like that. I think there was maybe one or two people who were in favour of moving the away fans? I would be astounded if this forum did not reflect the general feeling of season ticket holder on this issue.
I shall be asking him if he is going to wembley and also his opinion on the skate debacle. I may also be seeing some saints players, I'll try and get one of them to say you skate bastard on tape. Watch this space.
FFS what on Earth are you on about? If you actually met the guy you would see that he was probably one of the nicest and most down to Earth footballers around. I don't remember any of those stories. I think you are mistaken.
Regardless of that I don't think it's a question of someone knowing right or wrong, it's that something inside most of us which stops us crossing a line.
I have worked with children for many years. It's certainly no coincidence that in almost all cases the worst behaved children come from the most dysfunctional family. This is most evident in pre-school age. I'm not commenting on this case but there is no doubt in my mind that nurture plays a huge part in shaping someones perception of right and wrong and their character.
