  1. I take it from that that you've lost the argument and have accepted that someone else has a different view to your own. Nice to know.
  2. What exactly am I "not getting"? I'm not knocking tattoos, just saying that IMO they are not art and since there is no definitive definition of art, I'm not incorrect for saying that. Sigh I'm boring myself now.
  3. I don't think I mentioned anywhere what I considered art to be and what has timing got to do with anything? I fail to see how you aren't getting this. You think tattoos are art and I don't and neither of us are wrong because the definition of art is a personal one. Understand?
  4. Yeah I felt the same way. I think that was the point of the programme though. I bet GG watched it though
  5. It's not like that at all and I'm not trying to sound clever. An onion is a food whether you like the taste or not because it is used as fuel for your body and if you eat enough of it will fill you up. There are some tattoos that I really like the look of but that doesn't automatically qualify them as art, it's subjective because the definition of art is a personal one. Do you understand the difference?
  6. Only people who aren't saints supporters wouldn't be happy. Why buy shares in a football club in the first place?

  9. There is no definitive definition of art and so therefore I can say that IMO a tattoo is not art and you can say that in your opinion it is but you cannot state as fact that it is or isn't.
  10. Ok then define art and then say why it's ridiculous.
  11. Well you've stated it as fact there when in fact the definition of art is open for debate. It's not definitively art and I would argue that it most certainly isn't.
  12. If reports by posters on here are anything to go by then certainly! Not answering calls for a start could have been one of a number of things which could have resulted in Liebherr getting annoyed and pulling out.
  13. It was dismissed as meaningless in the show. There were a large number of plot holes (why did he have to be hung in 30 days? That's very unrealistic.) but the point of it wasn't to create a watertight case.
  14. Best thing on TV for ages. I am against the death penalty anyway but it really brought it home. The actor who played GG was fantastic too.
  15. It's ridiculous and the same with Phil Brown at Hull. Why do either of them deserve to be sacked? Billy Davies should never have been sacked from Derby either.
  16. That's what I heard.
  17. Yeah ron, the end of the book has a big bit at the end about the fall of it all. People were still in denial years later. There's a great german film all about east germany I think it's called the lives of others. Watch that as well!
  18. It's by anna funder. I'm on my phone so can't get more details but it's easy to find and I think it's on amazon for about 3.50
  19. I urge anyone with any interest in this to read the book stasiland. It's a fantastic and engrossing read
  20. On sky last night david ginola said he was more proud of his assists than his goals. Show him that cantona film where eric says his best bit on a football pitch is a pass for a goal. If it's good enough for cantona it's good enough for him!
  21. Well that isn't what Nicola said at the fans forum and I know who I am more inclined to believe.
  22. Is it really that important? Sure some celtic fans are idiots but I imagine this will cause some stupid overreaction from someone like the daily mail.
  23. FFS. EVERY time.
  24. Well I'm convinced.
  25. Any chance we could start this thread again mods with all idiotic replies deleted? I'll settle for all of St Will's replies deleted.
