I'm not sure how far I trust Morph. His posts were quite aggressive towards Phil. I know who Phil is but I don't know Morph. He showed his true colours with that outburst last year.

Well to be fair I did not realise his involvement when I first posted that. I still think it is important to be mindful and wary and there is a lot of use in seeing that clip. In all honesty I am against his involvement in the decision making process. If we have no choice then fair enough.

Well no actually because you started this thread with this line: I find it inconceivable that posters here are prepared to give Marc Jackson a chance. Are you that stupid? Which spectacularly fails to comprehend what any poster is saying to you. If you believe that Jackson won't get in then why are you bothered about people being prepared to give him a chance. They are only doing that on the basis that he is the last resort and that he actually is successful in getting in.

FFS we aren't debating about what MAY happen. If what you are suggesting does happen then I'm sure people will be generally satisfied. However there is a chance, however remote you think it is, that Jackson's group DOES take control. In that specific instance would you prefer that to the club ceasing to exist. That's all anyone else is saying and if you agree then there is really nothing to disagree about.

I think TopGun is fully aware of our point of view. I think he started this thread deliberately to cause conflict. I say that because he has chosen to ignore any posts asking sensible questions.

That too is my only requirement. My life revolves around SFC to an extent (well a lot of my planning for the weekends anyway.) I'll have lost my main source of pleasure in life really which is going to support my team with my mates. I don't really think TopGun understands what we're trying to say.

Right but you haven't answered the question. Leaving aside the fact I think you are wrong (for a start you have no idea who the backers in the background are.) in a hypothetical situation were the choice is MJ or nothing what would you pick?

But there is an if there. Nobody is saying for a fact that his presence in this is a good thing. At the present time nobody knows for sure! The only thing I am certain of is that I will accept anyone (yes even Lowe) if it makes I can watch saints next season.

Why do people assume that we are backing Marc Jackson just because posters have stated (quite sensibly) that if there is no alternative they would be very very pleased for ANYONE (including Jackson) to take us over?
