  1. The only reason we were bought was because we were 12 million and even then it was right at the last minute. Don't be a fool.
  2. I trod on my cat's tail earlier. He made a terrible racket but I think I caught the name "Beckford" in there somewhere. Coincidence? You decide.
  3. If you read the reactions when a player leaves on here, it's true that some people will slag the player off however good he has been. Often though, if a player is going to be a loss then there a significant number who will say so (yourself for instance.) The key to it is reading fans opinions and discounting the idiots. Hammond, Lambert and Harding all had largely positive reviews from their fans and as yet I haven't seen any Rovers fan saying Lines would be better than what we currently have. Of course their decision is not definitive, yet it is often a good starter point when speculating on how a signing may get on and if they will improve what we have.
  4. Beats me.
  5. Don't be silly TDD. Clearly we are speculating. Being underwhelmed by a signing is the same as being excited by one. Clearly neither reactions will have a bearing on how the player performs. Put it this way, I am much more excited when rival fans are very sad to lose a player.
  6. No he didn't pay that. It says pending.
  7. I'm not being harsh but why? It's not saints related and should be moved. Great news about John though.
  8. Lol.
  9. Still hurts.
  10. They are a ****ty small club in general. The fact they are a league above us makes me want to cry.
  11. But tbf it's Plymouth...
  12. I don't think many fans liked Fuller and for us Beattie was much better. I'm just saying some players have potential but it is only when they move to certain clubs that play a certain way that this is realised. Having said that, I am initially underwhelmed should we sign Lines. I think we are in need of a DM to play alongside Hammond with Morgan coming off the bench.
  13. I think the most effective thing would be to let it happen and everyone just ignore it. Seriously.
  14. I think we would have been significantly better off under Pearson. Not that it matter because relegation was one of the best things that has ever happened to us if you think about it.
  15. Ricardo Fuller being one example.
  16. What would be funnier is if the protest was allowed to take place and absolutely everyone went in their houses and totally ignored them. They would feel very silly.
  17. Good game that one. Well done to Whitlock. He will still get destroyed in the final though.
  18. He's right though...
  19. I hope we don't buy him. I want better.
