  1. I hope we don't buy him. I want better.
  2. Don't be silly. We have some way to go but to use those as reasons for it is ridiculous.
  3. I agree but in the scheme of things it's not terribly important.
  4. Trotman really wasn't that good and wasn't even in the first team towards the end of the loan. I imagine Pardew had some in mind should we not be able to keep Trotman and even if we did keep him because we need cover.
  5. We will buy some quality.
  6. I'm glad he's getting a chance. I hope he takes it.
  7. As far as I know.
  8. I disagree. We can definitely get someone better. He started well but got worse and given the pretty decent record in the transfer market so far, I have faith in Pardew. Have you watched much of Trotman?
  9. No you didn't.
  10. TBF you don't actually know that...
  11. Baxter was turd there.
  12. I do hope that's the case.
  13. Positive article here: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...ngland&cc=5739 I'm still worried they'll get away with it.
  14. I lent Al Faraj £1.50 and he still had change after buying the skates.
  15. Would you mind correcting the spelling of name? I don't wish to start an argument but then I wouldn't want this hyperchondriac fellow taking my credit.
  16. I get the Beckford credit once he signs
  17. We should offer 2 mill and saga.
  18. They're pretty similar.
  19. Boo. Reo-coker it is then!
  20. The key word being if. Also your original prediction never really came true did it! Not that it matters, we both got what we wanted (pompey failing). Happy new year smug man .
  21. Arent you like 18?
  22. TDD I think you have it a bit wrong. The amount of debt is not really the problem, it's who they owe the debt to. Reportedly they owe Sasha 30-40 million and he owns the surrounding land round fratton as security. They have taken a 15 million pound loan from a hong kong businessman secured against their ground. The also owe HMRC a sum of money and a number of clubs money for players. Now if they were to go into admin, the money owed to clubs has to be paid in order to play in the league. HMRC must be paid in full or they will refuse a CVA which will incur further point penalties. They must pay Sasha what he is owed or he can keep the surrounding ground and refuse to allow the expansion of fratton and they must pay the 15 million back or they won't have a ground to play in! Any new owner coming in will have to pay all of this off (being generous and factoring in this seasons tv money it's still going to be something north of 30 million) and they still don't own their training ground or have a half decent stadium. Markus got a fantastic deal on us because we owed very little to anyone other than stadium debt which could be negotiated once we entered admin. If the skates go into admin then they will cease to exist.
  23. No it isn't. Pompey do not own their own ground or the surrounding land. The also owe HMRC and other clubs. All of these things have to be paid in full if they want to play in the league and avoid any further points deductions. That's before we factor in the 15 million pound loan secured against their ground. I can't see anyone buying them should they go into admin.
