  1. If you reach any conclusions then feel free to let me know. If you want to discuss this thread then go ahead.
  2. Cheers. They go for about 250-270 on ebay but thought I would do a saints fan a favour.
  3. Cheers for the comments Clapham. They reassure me a bit!
  4. The not wanting to take it to court bit is what is worrying. How can they possibly challenge it without taking it to court?
  5. True, and not once did I believe we would either.
  6. If they have got away with this then there is truly no justice in the world.
  7. Law suits you say Stu. That sounds remarkably similar to my hypothetical scenario thread. Strange.
  8. There you go.
  9. No I mean the fact that they were originally claiming something like 17 million. HMRC then claimed 35 million and they agreed on 24 million. Some of them reckon it was a mutual agreement.
  10. Some of the skates reckon HMRC have cut a deal with AA and thus will not be challenging. Can't see it myself but I would be livid if true.
  11. Brand new never been used. In box with everything that comes with it. Asking for 210 which is pretty cheap if you ask me!
  12. will be interesting to see what hmrc will challenge. There are a number of angles they could take
  13. I think it all comes down to whether it is image rights tax (not legally enforcable) or fines from HMRC (legally enforcable) as to whether HMRC have a case here. If it is the image rights the AA will vigorously contest it because in law HMRC cannot enforce them.
  14. There is nothing to say they won't be dragged into a court dispute. They is no way they will just give up.
  15. It's more make sure you owe HMRC but owe other people loads more!
  16. The CVA will be approved because AA will move the debt levels around to fit. HMRC will challenge it and this will have a long time to run. Leeds were forced to come out of admin without a CVA because the administrator could not afford to bankroll the appeal process. No doubt Chanrai will bankroll the skates thoug because of the promise of the parachute payments. Will be interesting to see the outcome of any appeal once HMRC have done challenging.
  17. It is the discretion of the administrator whether to accept additional debt claims or not. HMRC can claim fines on the original loan and also the disputed tax on image rights payments. AA will dismiss these because he is dodgy as f*ck. The CVA will pass tomorrow, AA will go on and on about how great he is and how they can start again and HMRC will then challenge him in court. HMRC will no doubt win and then I don't know what happens after that. No one be suicidal tomorrow though when the CVA passes, it's all a sham!
  18. Does anyone know how to get in contact with Nick? I cannot seem to log into TUI.
  19. At least 50 million but maybe more. Especially when taking into account the 90 million that Premiership status is worth for ONE SEASON! They would make a handsome profit whatever the figure is so the argument still stands up.
  20. and i doubt he will need to invest a lot at all. Because we have no running costs everything we make goes towards buying players and wages and training grounds etc. An additional 10 million investment can easily propel us to the prem. Even 20 million would bring a huge profit. How much do you think sfc with no debt in the prem is worth?
  21. no i specified at least 200 mil earnings from being established in the prem (of wich much would be profit.) if they decided to sell should we get to the prem they will make a guge profit
  22. Everyone seemed to manage it apart from you. Play the ball not the man? Oh dear, there is always one person who can't debate the points raised so personally attacks the poster involved in the debate. Ho hum.
  23. Well IMO certainly not. Without going over old ground, the lack of installment option at such short notice will no doubt deter a percentage from renewing or buying a new season ticket. Anyway, lower season tickets and higher walk ups game by game will have an increase in revenue for the club. We shall see about food but it is my opinion that we will see a rise above inflation. With a food and drink prices rise (which I accept is speculation), booking fee introduction, lack of installment option which may result in lower season ticket sales but a higher walk up, how is that not evidence of the club trying to increase its revenue?
  24. Yes DBP and by making it look like a generous gesture, it in turn encourages the fans to feel good abut the club and to spend more. The very action of having no sponsor will increase revenue in other areas! I don't have a problem with that btw, I'm just suggesting that this is how it works.
