  1. I coukd be wrong but from memory he always claimed that there woukd be a cost to brexit and that ease of trade was not the only consideration. I remember the interviews at the time so it doesn't sound like he's really changed his position.
  2. Controversial opinion maybe but why are they treating Sven like a make a wish child? Letting him pretend to be the Liverpool manager for a game, all the old England players recording him little messages (including Scholes saying "get well soon" ffs.) Obviously it's very sad that he's got a terminal illness but there's something about it that feels rather patronising. He's a grown man. We had quotes from journalists like "just look at his face." Wasn't the bloke a serial cheater who failed with the England team? Obviously I don't wish him ill and I hope he's happy but this feels a bit over the top to me. Maybe I'm wrong.
  3. I'll be outside turnstile A. Ask one of the stewards for Keith and they'll know where to find me.
  4. I'd support the far right on that basis only.
  5. It's certainly not the people you claim to support given that they spectacularly failed to get anywhere near any sort of political power in decades.
  6. Clearly it's an unhealthy obsession for some on social media and elsewhere.
  7. Possibly. They certainly wouldn't be passing on the black Xabi Alonso because they're racist. If he was black and doing what he's doing this season you'd have the exact same clamour for his signature.
  8. No is the answer it doesn't matter at all. It seems to me that the far left are much more interested in it than any other group.
  9. What the fuck is modern European far right? Far lefties just like to redefine words.
  10. I bet soggy is penning daily emails to Ofcom.
  11. Absolutely. I haven't watched a second of it but it's pretty pathetic to do a mass reporting campaign because you've seen a clip you don't like on twitter. You'd think they would have better things to do.
  12. Sometimes you even get a number of different points of view from the same poster...
  13. I think it's fair to say that those three losses have pretty much sealed our fate. The form required to get top two now is imo beyond us given that everyone else keeps winning. Lottery of the playoffs it is. Knowing us we are more likely to lose to west brom or hull in the semi final.
  14. Bit of a silly thing to be concerned about. The way the headline read it was like it was entire exhibition dedicated to Thatcher being Hitler rather than saying she had been used in punch and Judy because she had been unpopular.
  15. Assuming he has a muscle tear, how many hamstring injuries take 4 months plus to heal?
  16. They didn't say that. They also haven't explained what injury he has which has kept him out for so long.
  17. Why all the lack of info surrounding Ross Stewart? Last update I saw was months ago.
  18. At this point I don't want either party but given how awful the Tories have been, might as well let Labour have a go to see if they can do any better than awful. I have my doubts and don't think I can bring myself to actually vote for them (other than in the local elections because Jeremy Moulton is a stand up guy.) I'm certainly not looking forward to the likes of Lammy, Sultana and Creasy anywhere near the levers of power and my guess is they will do a fair bit of a damage in a different way to the Tories. My preference would be to get proportional representation in so that it's actually worth voting. I am diametrically opposed to the politics of the mad commies who support Corbyn but they deserve to be represented in Parliament and we'd have a fair chance of some new parties with fresh ideas having some power (probably why it will never happen.)
  19. The other definition is made up.
  20. What if you've not a fan of Rayner but also think Rees-Mogg is a mong?
  21. Odd. Did you have examples of the apologies from Diane Abbott? You claimed yesterday that she'd apologised for those racist remarks.
  22. Hard to disagree with a tweet I saw earlier: I loathe Diane Abbott. I can’t stand Jeremy Hunt. I despise Rishi Sunak. I think Nadhim Zahawi is a disgraceful human being. Zarah Sultana has the IQ of a rainbow trout. Humza Yousaf needs to get in the sea. Angela Rayner is a foul mouthed trollop who demeans her office. Jeremy Corbyn sickens me. Claudia Webbe is a thug. Dawn Butler is a divisive race hustler and a proven liar. Stella Creasy is a fantasist who thinks women have cocks. What do these people have in common? I’ll give the myopic collectivists a clue - it’s not their race
  23. You don't need the stats but they are a useful tool for adding weight to what you see with your eyes.
  24. I don't think anyone should vote Conservative.
  25. Interesting. "white people like to play divide and rule", "west Indian mothers will go to the wall for their children", "blonde blue-eyed Finnish girls should not work in Hackney". Think I missed the apologies for these. Do you have a link?
