If that's true then imo we've given up before the season has started.

No it could be backup keeper role. If he leaves we will need his replacement for his role in the squad. Hopefully we will be signing another keeper regardless of what happens with him. Thinking logically if Bazunu is out for most of the season we can't go into the campaign with McCarthy and Lumley as our two keepers.
-
We don't know what role McCarthy is being lined up for. Hopefully backup.

When soggy posts in this manner it's like talking to my 15 year old relative who just regurgitates what their teacher has told them (in soggy's case it would be James O'brien) and then when you scratch the surface by asking any questions, their brain locks up and they have no answers. Because when you're young you get most of your opinions from authority figures and do very little thinking of your own. Most people grow out of that but not always...

Dribbling ability? Can take on and beat players, speed, should be able to create a lot more panic in the opposition defence than he does. I genuinely don't think he suited the system.
-
Whilst I don't disagree, worth remembering that he's still only 22 and clearly has a lot of attributes to succeed at the top. If he could channel his obvious talents in the right way then he could be great. Sadly that might come too late for us and we might see him tearing it up in the French league or something like that.

Good to see a few links to goalkeepers this morning. I thought we'd attempt to get in a decent one.

All a bit irrelevant. Getting rid of our nuclear deterrent is never going to be popular enough to be a viable option. Thankfully.
-
I really can't see us going into the season with the same attack as last year. As a minimum you'd think we would upgrade Mara.

Javi and saf?

Jan koller is signing any day now.
-
I know but in an ideal world they will want a few seats too.
-
True. Not sure how likely he is to win.
-
Also odd because they've binned off other candidates for less. Seems like a bit of a misstep to be honest.
-
He definitely tries not to lose against the top nations rather than playing to win. He plays it safe.
-
I'm sure he's just gutted by a lighthearted comment on a Web forum.

I haven't called him an antisemite once on this thread. In fact I haven't called him anything other than a mentalist and even then I was referring to his political views. If someone is going to blatantly lie about me and what I've said then you can hardly expect me not to respond.

A fit Ross is less likely than a real life Nessie sighting.

1) I don't hate Muslims. 2) I have never said nor think that all Muslims are opposed to homosexuality. 3) I have already spoken about non Muslims who don't share British values. 4) I have already said that Rwanda is a dumb idea. Like I said. Lies.
-
Well he couldn't this year so seems unlikely. Can't see either of them playing for us to be honest.
-
I'll let someone else point out why this is a lie...

Criticism of some of the teachings of Islam and some of the regressive attitudes of some Muslims in Britain is not Islamophobic. Islam is a series of beliefs and like all beliefs it is perfectly fine to challenge, mock, criticise and deny all of them.
-
Of course there is. Is there any evidence to suggest that a proportionally higher number of British Muslims than the average Brit believes for example that Homosexuality is wrong and that Sharia Law should be adopted for example?

He has had a terrible injury, shown no signs he can get back to where he was, was holt and cold at saints and did nothing at Fulham. I don't see any justification for that cash personally and if he wasn't at Chelsea he'd be 15-20 million max and even then it's expensive.

Very interesting tweet from George Galloway of all people: https://x.com/georgegalloway/status/1800095086694285780?t=X51CMfi05QtbXMH-eVrUSw&s=19
