Our style of play is utterly retarded. 0% chance we can play 90 minutes like this with no goal threat and not concede multiple times when we get tired. Madness.
-
All signs point to us getting thrashed and the decision to play Manning in a Premier league match will be widely mocked.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Well done for calling it out. Like you say it's wrong no matter what party engages in it. Hopefully there can be more clearly defined boundaries because asking them to mark their own homework isn't working. -
Do they punch themselves in the face?
-
Well yes but I've never seen a black person described as a neo nazi. I wasn't even aware that was possible.
-
Isn't that man black?

I think people will care. Does anyone remember the journalists shouting at Johnson asking how many children he has? -
Good to see Sam Gallagher getting a goal against the skates.

That would be more understandable if these people weren't already millionaires. On another note this could get interesting - understand the messenger isn't the most reliable but if it is true then surely a matter of time until it breaks. -

Quite. Like I said they're all at it. -

Yes you're quite correct. Nothing at all to stop companies promising things after leaving office in return for favours now. Banning freebies for pm is a gesture more than anything and would at least stop the more obvious piss takes. -

Starmer seems to think it's acceptable to accept these donations as leader of the opposition but not as pm which is an odd stance. He also only came to this realisation today and not before he had already accepted the donations. How about setting a precedent that no prime minister accepts any donations ever. Do what you like once you leave office and coin it in for the rest of your life but no risk of undue influence whilst in power. Seems fair to me. -
Sounds like the best of some bad options to me if it plays out like that. Iran hobbled would be great.
-
It's totally irrelevant to Lighthouse's point which is that there is nothing that Israel can do that would change Iran. In a hypothetical scenario where Israel did everything you wanted it to do, Iran's stance would not change, it would still see the existence of Israel as an abomination and it would still be looking to destroy it.

These were the exact type of people that @whelkwas referring to earlier.

"what's the difference?" "Israel aren't continually lobbing thousands of rockets at Lebanon in an effort to randomly kill as many Jews as possible." "you can't look at the bigger picture" How is answering the question I was asked anything to do with looking at a bigger picture? I was asked what the difference was between the two groups and responded. Do you think there's a difference?
-
That's not the crux of the issue for Hezbollah and Hamas. Or Iran.
-
It's hilarious that you see no difference between Israel and Hezbollah.
-
Exactly. It simply comes back to what was articulated months ago on this thread. There is not a negotiating position acceptable to Islamic fundamentalists who object to your existence. What Israel agree or disagree with is irrelevant to these people - they will want them dead and removed regardless.
-
Could do. One thing for sure is that the current Iranian regime are terrible and subjugate their people. The risk for something worse to come along afterwards wouldn't be a reason to not celebrate the toppling of their regime - particularly because it might not happen.
-
Because Israel aren't continually lobbing thousands of rockets at Lebanon in an effort to randomly kill as many Jews as possible.

I'm excited if we do bin Martin to see what a slightly more direct manager could do with the likes of Amo Ameyew, Sulemana, Fraser and eventually Edozie. Allowing that lot to actually run and dribble with the ball would a significant new dimension to our game and hopefully give us more of a goal threat - not that that would be hard!
-
There's not going to be peace in our lifetimes. Removing Iran's capabilities to wage proxy wars will at least remove a significant part of the aggression.
-
Let's hope so. Fatally crippling Iran would remove a lot of the issues in the region.
-
Because they are religious fundamentalist who despise Jews and use their interpretation of their religion as justification for wiping Jews off the face of the earth given the opportunity.
