In summary-our players aren't great but should be performing better than they currently are. I have no doubt that a better manager would have us on more points or at the very least made us more competitive in more games this year. It's not necessarily the defeats so much as the manner of defeat.

I agree. But we could have told Martin that before the season started. No one other than Martin wanted to stick with a mental strategy of continuously playing out from the back and keeping it in our own half.

It's the sort of thing that is either genius or retarded. 15 minutes in it was clearly retarded and at that point he should have reverted to a normal formation. Why on earth we bothered to change the team from last week I have no idea.

Genuinely think that Martin is as out of his depth as Jones was. In many ways it's actually worse as Jones never had a preseason or an entire season to work on what he wanted the players to do.

Anything reasonable that increases their chances of not getting rockets fired at them is a good thing. An ongoing presence is entirely reasonable. I can't comment on the airport as I don't know enough about it.

As I understand it there has been some efforts to minimise casualties but it's a balance isn't it. You can't pre-notify everyone of every strike you intend to make or they would be pointless. It seems that only Israel are held to this unrealistic standard. I won't see similar levels of outrage should any Lebanese rocket attacks kill or maim young Israelis (and let's not forget, if rocket attacks supported by Iran were not occurring then these retaliations from Israel would almost certainly not be happening.)
