  1. Why is that bad? I assumed he would go. Arsenal are one of a few who could maybe afford the price.
  2. Really interested to see who comes out on top here.
  3. Alfie house said it feels like an inevitability and there's an article today saying he's told us he wants to leave.
  4. Not just saying this because I'm biased. I genuinely think if I were Ramsdale I'd probably stay if offered 100k and if my alternative was the likes of Sunderland. The chance to potentially win the league and be a bit of a hero seeing some success instead of another relegation. If someone like West ham came in for me then maybe I'd go but otherwise I don't see the point personally.
  5. Sounds like things are moving ahead now anyway so we should get some certainty.
  6. Will we. Without a top equity replacement we wi be seriously short of creativity in midfield. Even more so when Dibling goes as well.
  7. My guess is the club feel he's the one we might have the best chance of keeping out of Ramsdale, THB and Dibling. If we do end up selling those three, you'd think we would have a massive amount of money to make improvements if we feel the need.
  8. With Ramsdale almost certain to leave and news coming out confirming that, any chance we could get Patterson and some cash in from Sunderland for Ramsdale?
  9. You would hope that behind closed doors he will be open and honest with us. He seems like a good lad so hopefully wouldn't screw us over.
  10. If Ramsdale leaves for Sunderland then I'll be pretty disappointed if it's a loan. We need to get or goalkeeping options sorted ASAP though as it's a really key poisition.
  11. That rather hinges on keeping some of them though.
  12. Can he play a pressing game at his age?
  13. Or give him another year I could see some logic in that maybe.
  14. Doubt it as no one is paying his wages.
  15. Absolutely. I'm going to be interested to see what AM we go for now. If it's a youngster with potential then that's three in a row. I wonder if we would then get a big money more experienced Fernandes replacement if he goes
  16. Clearly the plan is to bring in an AM and then do just that. Aribo Bednarek Bazunu ABK Possibly Taylor Need to leave. Anyone else who leaves will need replacing.
  17. More deflection. You accuse me of not answering a question and then you quite clearly refuse to answer in any detail the questions I asked. Simply pathetic.
  18. Bollocks did you! Your "answer" such as it was was that you want it sorted ASAP on the best terms. Zero detail on how to achieve that, zero idea about whether you'd accept some strike action or if it needed to be sorted I bthe next two weeks, no idea about whether you'd accept more taxpayer money given to junior doctors. Comprehensive answer my arse.
  19. Nope. Neither party had the best approach.
  20. I think in fairness to the club they've bought him at the exact right time. If we'd waited a season and he had a good one in the Bundesliga then he would have been out of our reach financially. I hope he can develop as much as the club thinks he can.
  21. Persuade Ramsdale to stay and give it to him.
  22. I agree. Their problem was thinking that the union were reasonable people last year rather than the money grabbing cunts they are.
  23. Right so you criticised me for saying I wanted the government to be tougher but you've essentially given the same answer for this round of negotiations! You can't tell me whether you'd be prepared for some strikes this year or not and if you are happy with that then why were strikes so unacceptable last year? Given that the doctors have just waited a year and then threatened more strikes, I'd have preferred a tougher stance last year which may have meant they hadn't given up so much last year so they could have maybe been a bit more generous this year. Maybe that would have meant some industrial action last year but all we've really done is delayed the industrial action a year. With how much was given last year there's very little left to concede from the government side short of giving even more money which will be hideously unpopular with the electorate.
  24. So should there be a deal in the next two weeks to prevent strike action? Or do we accept some strikes in order to get a better deal?
  25. @egg So what needs to happen now then in your opinion? Face down the unions and prepare for a summer of strikes that were unthinkable last year? Or give the unions more money? Or something else? goodness me you think you'd be able to find it for yourself given that I asked you this yesterday and you still haven't answered it. You're the very thing you accuse me of
