  1. If Jones achieves what Hughes did then he will have been an undoubted success even if he was 'lucky.'
  2. Don't care if he was lucky. He did what he was brought into do and was an undeniable success. Probably shouldn't have been given a contract at the end of the season though.
  3. Hughes was a great appointment. Came in, kept us up and was sacked shortly afterwards without much damage done. Exactly what we could do with now.
  4. So 4 players that is likely to be a CB, 2 midfielders and a striker.
  5. It's possible that whoever loses on Saturday sacks their manager and gets Dyche in.
  6. Mixed feelings about this result to be honest. If we get humped at City he's not going to be sacked before Everton. Lose that and it really is game over.
  7. Scrambled egg on toast. Lovely stuff.
  8. Sounds very interesting. There's clear parallels here. At least it shows he may actually sack him sooner rather than later.
  9. I hope some of these players are happy playing in the championship.
  10. Which post? Genuinely I've missed it.
  11. IMO if we get humped in the two cup games then you can't credibly give him the Everton game too.
  12. I don't think expecting more from Ralph and his team was an unrealistic expectation at all. if there are saints fans who were expecting top six or something like that then it would only ever have been a tiny minority.
  13. You said he was correct to call the fans entitled because many are. I don't agree that entitled is the correct way to describe any fanbase that deserve a very basic level of commitment and results.
  14. There's absolutely nothing entitled about expecting better than the performances and results of the last twelve months. Any fanbase would have been the same and actually we've been more patient than many.
  15. You despicably branded people "rape apologists" when they pointed out the inconsistencies in the original conviction and when it was rightly overturned you never even attempted to apologise or admit your error.
  16. Where?
  17. Where have people slandered his private life?
  18. I refuse to get my hopes up until I have reasonable confidence it's actually going to happen. He needs to be out before Everton or any tiny shred of hope will have disappeared.
  19. Fingers crossed for two heavy defeats in the next two games that don't matter then. For the greater good.
  20. It is but it's pointless if they do nothing about it.
  21. What would you disagree with? I thought it was well written.
  22. Ralph deserves a lot of criticism but he was clearly quite erudite abd intelligent considering English was his second language. Not so with this chap who seems quite unintelligent.
  23. I think that's when Adam accused him of wanting Ralph to go. I think it's clear that Adam's view is that we have an awful squad and that Ralph was doing a good job (although that doesn't explain his comments about the summer transfer window.) interesting though how everyone is clear with this bloke that he needs to go even if you wanted Ralph to stay.
  24. The fact that sensible and normally level headed people are seriously suggesting that a manager should leave after 4 games and just a few weeks speaks volumes to be honest. This really is quite a unique situation.
  25. I've just thought about the new signing with Jones' face in all the shots and the cringe quotes and it fills me with despair. This bloke needs to go before damage becomes even harder to remove.
