  1. Seems a bit of a weird one though if his passing isn't great. You'd think that would be a basic requirement of a signing for Martins team.
  2. Yes I agree. I wouldn't get rid of him but I think it's vital that we get in some proper quality so that he can be safely dropped if required.
  3. OK seems I may have been wrong and many think he needs replacing. How confident are people that he will actually be replaced? I'm not sure sports Republic are ready to admit failure and will persist under the rationale that he's had a year of experience.
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like the general consensus on here at the moment is that Bazunu is decent enough at the back to be first choice next season. I would personally be very unsure about that, given that he was one of our major weaknesses last year. Keepers of relegated teams will typically look quite good given how much they are required to do in a season (I remember David Marshall a few years back looking handy for example) yet Bazunu looked not up to standard for almost the entire season. Is it really wise to risk having him as our keeper for the whole season? Personally I'd be looking to bring in another strong keeper and have some actual competition there rather than just letting him be first choice because we don't really have anyone else. What do you think?
  5. It is in some countries. Also puberty blockers are not fully reversable and they have been given to children. It's one of the reasons the Tavistock has been shut down.
  6. The only difference between what soggy describes as sex reassignment surgery and fgm is the motivation of the perpetrator and the fact that the victim does not consent in the case of fgm.
  7. Ignoring the issues with yougov polls and the bias involved in the type of people who complete them, in what world are those percentages not a lot of women?
  8. Maybe I can put up a photo of his legs and you can all judge how much they look like a footballers.
  9. Why would I lie about my brother in law being at spurs and then make it less impressive by saying he only played in the youth team and ended up in the lower leagues? Seems like a bit of a pointless lie
  10. Women have a right to their own spaces. This should not be violated just because it may make a trans person feel more comfortable or safe. I could make the same argument and say that it makes me feel safer and more comfortable using the ladies changing room and by your logic my right to feel comfortable and safe would trump women's rights to their own spaces. You've admitted it's an issue and whilst not that important to you, it's clearly a really important one to a lot of women. I'd rather listen to them rather than thinking I know better than they do. The issue isn't necessarily the tiny handful of genuine trans people, it's that by blurring the lines and allowing it, you then have men who dress as women as a sexual fetish being allowed to get their kicks by self identifying as women and literally waving their cocks around. Pretending it doesn't happen is a denial of reality. We can't possibly know which men are the ones genuinely suffering from gender disphoria and which are autogynephiles so the safest and easiest thing to do is to remove the risk by preventing them from entering a female space. Not all trans people are perverts and dirty freaks, but by relaxing the rules, you allow perverts and dirty freaks to call themselves trans and then gain a sporting advantage, gain access to women's spaces and potentially put women in danger.
  11. I'd give a plumber's opinion on my pipework more credence than my mate.
  12. I think West ham have to be attractive given they have European football (albeit a second rate competition.) If he doesn't go to them for whatever reason then it's only really Newcastle that he may have some chance of moving to. Any teams below that can't offer European football and other than villa probably have at least a chance of going down again and maybe switching places with us. If I were him I would at least think about giving us a season. If he went up playing attractive football with us he really would cement his status as an sfc legend and that's got to be worth more than a decent season at Fulham. This could all be silly speculation person by the end of the week when he's gone to join Marco Silva but I do think the club certainly aren't acting like he's off soon.
  13. I answered it. They pose a greater threat because statistically men pose a greater threat than women on a whole host of metrics. Even if that weren't the case, many women feel deeply uncomfortable in an intimate setting in the presence of a man for many reasons.
  14. Even Adam Blackmore was suggesting at least the possibility of it on twitter and I'd wager he knows a fair bit more than the average person given that he speaks to jwp regularly. They must surely have had some sort of informal chat that wasn't broadcast? I've been saying he's off for a while but the recent club stuff makes me start leaning towards him staying.
  15. This also seems like a very relevant piece of news that just came out today. Women have the right to single sex spaces.
  16. And my point is that by having ambiguity about who is or is not allowed in women's changing rooms, you end up in unfortunate situations that have been widely reported in the media where bad actors posing as women have upset and distressed women by invading female only spaces. If third or segregated spaces exist for autogynaphiles to change in isolation then I'm fully supportive of that. In the many places where these separate spaces do not exist, they should be barred and left in no doubt that they should not be there.
  17. He's much too short.
  18. Well my brother in law did actually play for spurs (well the youth team anyway) and is an ex professional so I'm inclined to give his opinion a fair bit of credence.
  19. My spurs supporting brother in law reckons he's decent.
  20. I don't think they'd be damned if they don't include him as much. If they know he's off it would make sense to feature him less prominently. It's not like there's a load of fans who don't expect him to be sold.
  21. No idea about all of them but the gents don't. Red Lodge and Shirley don't have cubicles in the ladies no. The point is it's a lot more common than you're making out.
  22. Red Lodge swimming pool, the de vere hotel and Shirley swimming pool to name three. From memory David Lloyd has an open area. Plenty of gyms around Southampton have open changing rooms.
  23. I think he will almost certainly go to the hammers but I do think it's a bit of an own goal from the club to be focusing on him fairly heavily if he ends up going. They must have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen to him. I'm surprised there haven't been some itk leaks. Someone must have spoken to him.
  24. That's the case in loads of gyms and swimming pools. Admittedly I don't know if the ladies is the same as the blokes as I've never identified as one and been in there.
  25. It's a novel concept.
