  1. He would never reference the clear and obvious problem that the Muslim community has with terrorism in the UK. It doesn't matter how many attacks there are.
  2. What do you think about the stats I posted above? It suggests that offences of this nature are vastly disproportionately committed by Asian or self identified as Muslim.
  3. He was my motm. So classy and strong it was great.
  4. Lol so true. Tella and Broja in please.
  5. It's a side point but I don't have any problem with someone discussing someone's ideas and whether they would have dangerous outcomes. That's not really the same as personal attacks or calling someone scum for example.
  6. I expect he is referring to the statistics such as this:
  7. It's a separate point and not really anything to do with this case, but I don't see why anyone has to refer to someone else as scum for simply being involved with a different mainstream political party from their own. I think supporters of Corbyn are ridiculous and he was potentially dangerous had he got into power but I don't doubt that they are largely kind people doing what they think is best. For some reason, some people on the left think it's acceptable to call their political opponents things like scum among other insults yet think they are justified in doing so. No side should be describing their opponents in such terms, it does add to an atmosphere where people from both sides feel justified in hurling abuse or worse at a politician because they disagree with their views. Diane Abbott is an awful politician with some extreme views that I would never agree with bit she deserves to go about her business free from extreme abuse just like everyone else.
  8. I see that bellend Femi has already started on twitter. The Internet has largely ruined society.
  9. Given that the last MP killed was used to further certain political aims in an absolutely shocking way, I hope that people avoid that temptation with this whoever the identity of the killer is.
  10. I miss the wanking one from saintsforever
  11. And the other thing why wouldn't she just sell to another Gao type figure? She's already shown her judgement isn't the best with this sort of thing.
  12. So in your mind the only possible reason for anyone to boo is because they are under some delusion about a Marxist takeover? There couldn't be any other reason?
  13. So in your view, the reason that there weren't boos for something like kick it out is because the fans didn't notice it was happening? Had there been greater awareness of it do you think there would have been boos?
  14. Which clearly wasn't my point as you well know.
  15. What is it about the taking of the knee do you think that is different from other supposed anti racist campaigns at football that has provoked such a markedly different and at times hostile reaction? You'd think that the same fans loudly expressing their opposition would have reacted in a similar manner to other similar campaigns if they were all racist like has been claimed. Why did Millwall fans boo the knee taking and then applaud a separate gesture about tackling racism the following week?
  16. Fair enough mate I wasn't expecting such a genial reply.
  17. I say that it has raised racial tensions because that is what the polling tells us. There's clear evidence to say that is the case.
  18. I say that it has raised racial tensions because that is what the polling tells us. There's clear evidence to say that is the case.
  19. I'm sure the persecuted and whistle blowers throughout the world would welcome your stance on the removal of online anonymity.
  20. Yes it is possible for it to have a positive effect. Polls however have suggested the opposite. You believe it has had a positive effect but have yet to provide evidence for that claim.
  21. Also totally shocking that the BBC chose to "stonewall" one of their own investigative journalists. What do they have to hide?
  22. Great Post. That's the issue exactly.
  23. Absolutely fascinating and fantastic investigative journalism from someone inside the BBC no less! It exposes how laughable the BBC have been with their claims of impartiality and highlight how insidious Stonewall as an organisation are. Shocking but a must listen: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p09yk1fy
  24. What's your evidence that taking the knee has influenced people to be less racist?
  25. And taking the knee has influenced public opinion in a positive way?
