Here's an idea. How about the people driving hundreds of miles simply stop doing it then the size of any punishment becomes a moot point.
-
It's your party. The internecine warfare in the Labour Party isn't that interesting unless you're on the far left.
-
Would anyone other than MLG be bothering with this if they weren't shut indoors with nothing to do?
-
Oh right because that's definitely the line you would take if someone linked to spiked or the daily mail...
-
Like I said earlier it's pretty slim pickings. He's certainly a better pick than the other ones I already highlighted.
-
Prole star??? Stop it you're killing me.
-
I quite like him I didn't say I wanted him to be Labour leader. Quite liking someone doesn't mean you want them to be in charge or agree with some of the things they have done.
-
Additionally many have already pointed out how that sort of thing takes a similar form to religion.

I quite like Ed. He's certainly improved since he decided to actually be himself rather than be frightened to show any personality. The point is though that there are plenty of reasonable labour MPs that would make Labour more electable and who don't have the baggage and horrible personalities of jess Phillips, Naz Shah, Emily Thornberry or David Lammy. All of them are terrible choices who are obsessed with identity politics and I don't want them anywhere near government. Like it or not, personalities count for a lot probably even more so than policies and that lot are very easy to dislike.

Starmer seems like the best choice for leader out of the candidates. I thought Lisa Nandy was a good public speaker with some interesting ideas even if she crashed and burned over the whole trans thing. Liz kendall has been alright in the past and Andy Burnham has earnt a lot of my respect with how he has handled himself. Ian Murray seems like a good bloke. That's just off the top of my head though, I'm sure there are a lot more. Edit: I forgot Alan whitehead is a great guy. I've had many dealings with him and he's genuinely a good bloke. I like him a lot. It's not hard to find lots of Labour politicians who would be better than many of the people now in the shadow cabinet and I say that even if I disagree with some of their politics. All they have to be is not be dislikable, race baiters, snobbish or not obsessed with identity politics. Admittedly that does rule out a lot of Labour MPs.

Jess Phillips probably worse. Diane is more amusing than anything.
-
Yes I think it's pretty amusing too how badly they failed.
-
Literally any other labour mp than David Lammy as shadow justice Secretary. Blindfold someone and get them to throw a dart at every Labour mp on a board and you'd get a better candidate.
-
Indeed. Let's be glad that the momentum lot never got anywhere near power.
-
Lol is that the only answer to the shadow cabinet being rubbish? I've already answered that one, the cabinet not being great doesn't make the shadow cabinet better.
-
Who said it was? The tory cabinet not being great doesn't make the goons in the shadow cabinet any better. If anything it's more of an embarrassment.
-
Jonnyboy what do you reckon about the stellar lineup in the shadow cabinet? Emily Thornberry, David Lammy, jess Phillips, Naz Shah, Rebecca long Bailey. Some serious talent there.

I was imagining it was the future and you can jizz in a female shaped disk drive to produce a sprog.

Too right. No dreams for the offspring of MLG. Cold hard reality only. Make sure they know the mortality rate of cancer victims and the economic inequalities in Africa by age 7 and we are on to a winner. Just imagine the horror of the MLG household if 2 year old MLG child develops an imaginary friend. The very idea brings me out in a cold sweat.
-
I'm not sure it's even possible but if it were I'd be very happy if they did implement something like that. I bet the idiots woild be the first to complain though.
-
Precisely. I fail to see how it's a difficult concept to grasp.
-
Let's hope so. The likes of red army can get behind my parents for a start.
-
Someone else will have to have a go. Penetrating a skull this dense is proving an impossible task.
-
Being in an at risk group and going out unnecessarily, meeting grandchildren who don't live with you etc is selfish and irresponsible and you're a selfish pr*ck and incredibly thick if you try to argue otherwise. I hope you don't get it and pass it on to others.
-
Its official: this poster is as thick as anyone who has ever posted on here. Attitudes like yours are dangerous and I advocate for stricter government measures primarily because I know there are other cretins who think in similar ways and they need saving from themselves as much as anything else. If everyone felt the same as you this would go on for far longer than is necessary, do even worse damage to the economy and cost many unnecessary lives. You're pig ignorant and dangerous.
