  1. Fair enough. I was just questioning the people who were laughing at the idea of there not being too much demand. Is there demand at the rate of 100k a day for people currently displaying symptoms who haven't had a test?
  2. The point is there isn't currently much motivation for people who may have had it a few weeks ago to get a test now because it may not even show anything other than negative the antibody test is a different thing and that's very much worth the effort.
  3. I don't believe it would.
  4. Isn't part of it also that it's now for people who are currently showing symptoms. So that excludes anyone who may have had symptoms and anyone not showing symptoms which maybe doesn't leave multiple thousands every single day. Maybe they should make the testing compulsory instead rather like how south Korea have done it.
  5. Yes but how are people going to dictate to those countries that they can only have one child per family whilst others can do what they like? It's not going to happen is it.
  6. Tbf it is a good point though. Its going to get to a point where it doesn't matter how many green policies there are, the sheer amount of people will ruin things regardless. People don't want to have that conversation though because it goes down a dark road where you either limit child numbers or talk about mass culling.
  7. All key workers and families wasn't it?
  8. I'm glad he isn't dead but I'm not encouraging to return on here or anything.
  9. Genuinely hope soggy is OK. Hasn't posted in over a month.
  10. I already said him!
  11. On the face of it that does seem like a really stupid and potentially deadly error.
  12. What does passing the buck to the science even mean? They've set out the criteria that needs to be met before the lockdown is ended. Making decisions independent of the science would be incredibly dumb. It's only idiots in the media that demand an exact date for things.
  13. Does calling someone a fascist or a nazi have a level of stigma about it that is greater than calling someone a lefty, far left or even a communist? Simple question. Oh and I certainly don't think I'm more on the right. Like most people I am right leaning on some things and more left on others. I've voted more left wing in the past and may do so again in the future if there's anything worth voting for.
  14. That's true but blanketing a load of people as soppy lefties doesn't have the same stigma as calling someone a fascist or a nazi.
  15. It's the social media generation who don't actually know what far right means. It's an idiots way to pretend they've won an argument and it's led to disgusting scenes where employers and sponsors have been written to and scared off by warriors on social media.
  16. Sounds fairly standard for those type of people then.
  17. It's not about if you supported brexit or not it's just basic common sense.
  18. I assumed with the comment about taking two weeks to reply that they weren't outright ignoring emails, just taking their time to answer.
  19. Bit of a crummy business if they don't have someone answering emails at the very least during all this.
  20. Because the worst health crisis in a generation means the proper amount of attention cannot be given to getting a deal at the moment and priorities are elsewhere.
  21. Only nutters would do anything other than option 3 at the moment tbh.
  22. He's right though. We don't have to invite Romanians over, we have decided to do so due to a need that we have. If that needs is less in future years then we will no longer require Romanian workers and the scheme will be reduced or end. That's clearly being in control and the government saying they want to not have a reliance on cheap labour from abroad doesn't contradict that.
