  1. How does someone saying a prayer which makes them feel better have any impact on your life? I couldn't care less. If it makes someone happy and isn't hurting anyone else then do what you like.
  2. Some people seek medical help and do a bit of prayer. If it lifts their morale in testing times then fair play. Crack on I say.
  3. Quite a few people were praying yesterday. Good for them.
  4. Good to see some virtual church services this Sunday morning. Giving people some inspiration and encouraging good can only be a positive thing.
  5. It's pathetic. It's like soggy in real life. Get a grip and concentrate on doing the right things rather than expressing faux outrage over b*llocks.
  6. It would be difficult for me to imagine how they could do any more.
  7. Yes I bet all those tory bashers of the last few months will forget about all this shortly. Bunch of fools trying to politicise a national crisis.
  8. You see and this is why people should be forced to self isolate because you get thick idiots like this who are a danger to themselves and others. I've had to deal with so much **** this week and ignorant, know it all British people make my blood boil. If you can't follow very basic guidelines to potentially save your life and the lives of others then do everyone a favour and go jump off the nearest cliff and save everyone from your stupidity. Cretin.
  9. This is a staggering amount, it's gone way beyond what I thought they would do. Obviously a huge relief for us and our workers but we will be paying this off for the rest of our lives.
  10. Where has there been any suggestion that there aren't some selfish irresponsible idiots who are young?
  11. You're a weird bloke.
  12. That's pretty unfair. I know that many year 11s were crushed to know that it could be the last time they see many of their friends today. Might be a small thing but at that age it feels huge.
  13. The butchers actually delivered a load of chicken and steaks to me earlier. Legends.
  14. What an odd thing to get annoyed about. I couldn't give a sh*t if some millionaire footballer wants to lighten their predicament slightly by larking around in isolation. That's a bizarre sense of behaviour policing as if you'd be happier if they filmed themselves crying or looking scared. Good for them they can do what they like as far as I'm concerned as long as they aren't breaking self isolation or putting other people in danger.
  15. This. Everything is depressing enough already, maybe these videos serve as a distraction for some and they can't exactly help living in a massive house, would it be preferable if they filmed themselves moping around a one bed flat?
  16. Nope but his brother is along with his local GP.
  17. If it comes to it can't they just put the whole thing on pause for 6 months?
  18. It was pretty much a non answer. I have been surprised by how badly he has come accross in them tbh. Sunak was superb yesterday by comparison, Boris has been mostly bluster.
  19. If true its been handled pretty well all things considered. Despite the hysterical wailing on social media.
  20. Pretty pathetic to try to make the coronavirus crisis about brexit.
  21. And so the coronavirus thread devolves into some silly partisan political thread where no one wins.
  22. Define almost under control? Also it's widely believed that those figures are wrong and that the disease will rear its head again once China returns to normal.
  23. I've never really slagged off Wes before but this dogged adherence to ending the transition period at any cost is insane. No wonder people call you extreme if that's genuinely your attitude when faced with this situation.
  24. Thanks. Fortunately I got my lot from the corner shop earlier today
