What companies? As a director of a company myself, I'll be paying all the staff before I get anything and I'll probably be the lowest paid staff member like I was last year.

Figuring out the real mortality rate isn't particularly important at the moment, it certainly shouldn't be the priority. Until we know the percentage of people who are asymptomatic it's also impossible.
-
Given it a go. First episode was alright, second one seems a bit arty and trying to be clever for my liking. I'll stick with it in case it improves.

I don't think there's any danger with the prem clubs. It's the lower league ones I'd worry about.

Tbf I don't think you can get a routine test as quickly in any other country in the world if you're using South Korea as an example.

After the ladt couple of decades I think people will cope.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Well that showed him. Fight the good fight. -
I love how het up and hysterical soggy is about all this and then he tries to pretend it's everyone else going crazy. You'd think at times of national crisis, political grudges and hangovers from an historical electoral loss would be put to one side and forgotten but it seems that for soggy the hatred is just too strong. It must be comforting soggy to know that his views are in perfect alignment with Piers Morgan. They both have a remarkable history of impeccable judgement so I'm sure he's very happy with that.

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m

Has anybody expected him to be anything other than useless? Because I haven't seen it. -
It would be retarded not to extend the implementation period under the circumstances.

Probably based on the worst case scenario outlined by the papers where the virus is a constant menace for the next year. Might make it quite difficult to restart things in that scenario but likelihood is we will resume things in a few months.

It was a guess he already said.

There's only one person in this conversation absolutely certain they know which side is right and which is wrong and it ain't me pal.

My question is why aren't we ignorong the official advice from those nobodies and stocking up on garlic like soggy and the pharmacy expert advise?

“It’s about being sensible” says Transport Secretary Grant Shapps on plans to ask elderly to self-isolate Suggests activities like taking the dog out for a walk will be ok Advice likely to last for months Phew. Whitey can get his MOT after all.
-
We should be knocking them tories and that Mr Johnson. Amirite???
-
If I'd ignored government advice and went and got myself infected then I would hope I wouldn't be given the option of a bed if other more deserving cases needed it.
-
Yes there are selfish inconsiderate b*stards in every age bracket.
-
What aspect of life needs dealing with so urgently that you would put your life and more importantly the lives of other vulnerable people in danger?
-
Well what if every old person did this and it stopped the NHS from being swamped for an extra day or an extra week? That could potentially save quite a few lives. Clearly those in charge think its worth attempting and I think most sensible people would go through with it even if there's a chance to save a handful of lives. But if the MOT needs doing then f*ck let's all just give up and ignore the advice. Who cares because that immunosupressed cancer survivor and mother of two was going to die anyway.
-
No it's not easy at all. I think most have acknowledged that.
-
It's a threat to me if my father dies because a load of people increase their chances of getting critically ill and taking a bed he could need by ignoring government advice and doing whatever they want because they couldn't care less about their own wellbeing.
-
Genuinely didn't realise there were so many old selfish people. I'm always told that the greatest generation were selfless. Maybe not. Prepared to not only get themselves killed but kill others as well. Awful.
-
Yes but that choice to take their chances may end up killing someone else.
