  1. Where has there been any suggestion that there aren't some selfish irresponsible idiots who are young?
  2. You're a weird bloke.
  3. That's pretty unfair. I know that many year 11s were crushed to know that it could be the last time they see many of their friends today. Might be a small thing but at that age it feels huge.
  4. The butchers actually delivered a load of chicken and steaks to me earlier. Legends.
  5. What an odd thing to get annoyed about. I couldn't give a sh*t if some millionaire footballer wants to lighten their predicament slightly by larking around in isolation. That's a bizarre sense of behaviour policing as if you'd be happier if they filmed themselves crying or looking scared. Good for them they can do what they like as far as I'm concerned as long as they aren't breaking self isolation or putting other people in danger.
  6. This. Everything is depressing enough already, maybe these videos serve as a distraction for some and they can't exactly help living in a massive house, would it be preferable if they filmed themselves moping around a one bed flat?
  7. Nope but his brother is along with his local GP.
  8. If it comes to it can't they just put the whole thing on pause for 6 months?
  9. It was pretty much a non answer. I have been surprised by how badly he has come accross in them tbh. Sunak was superb yesterday by comparison, Boris has been mostly bluster.
  10. If true its been handled pretty well all things considered. Despite the hysterical wailing on social media.
  11. Pretty pathetic to try to make the coronavirus crisis about brexit.
  12. And so the coronavirus thread devolves into some silly partisan political thread where no one wins.
  13. Define almost under control? Also it's widely believed that those figures are wrong and that the disease will rear its head again once China returns to normal.
  14. I've never really slagged off Wes before but this dogged adherence to ending the transition period at any cost is insane. No wonder people call you extreme if that's genuinely your attitude when faced with this situation.
  15. Thanks. Fortunately I got my lot from the corner shop earlier today
  16. In your mind what is the logic? That the BBC are deliberately inventing a high death rate to pwn the government?
  17. I don't see how anyone would think it unreasonable for there to be an extension under the circumstances which really are unprecedented in over a century. Just like virtually everything else, brexit needs to be put on pause until this is over. I'd hope for a years extension at least, possibly longer.
  18. I was a bit annoyed that my online tesco order had no toilet paper or kitchen roll. You would have thought they would prioritise things for people who had the foresight to order online over a week ago. Luckily there's a small corner shop nearby that I know has toilet paper so I'll send someone to get that later today.
  19. It's not just sensible, it's the only thing they should be doing. I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise to be honest.
  20. First one was in a wardrobe, second one was a silent one about two blokes robbing a house. I've enjoyed the third one about the homeless bloke so it's getting better.
  21. Personally I thought the documentary was pretty exploitative and some of the footage was gratuitous and unnecessary. Its a gripping story for sure but it also gives the killer a bit of the notoriety he was looking for.
  22. Yes I think that's clear. They can make approximate guesses but that's all.
  23. Yep. I reckon about 200k of debt at least for me if this is three months but at least with the announcements today the staff will get paid which was my biggest worry. Most small and medium businesses care deeply about their staff in my experience.
  24. Well said. Leave it out soggy.
