  1. The point is its a rubbish choice which it absolutely is. Million of people in America and those are the best two candidates they can muster. It's pathetic.
  2. I'm glad he's someobe else's problem for as long as it lasts.
  3. Blimey. A sensible post from you that I agree with.
  4. There is too much demand for whatever the capacity was for their online portal since they increased the criteria yesterday. It's a changing situation though isn't it.
  5. In fact at this point why not just open the online portal up to anyone who has symptoms but hasn't had a test with priority for key workers and NHS? Seems like the logical thing to do if there really isn't the demand there.
  6. Completely agree. Test everyone in the care sector and NHS on a regular basis and that's easily 100k a day. Then once the antibody test is available (if it ever is), certain people can get back to things with a level of certainty.
  7. Fair enough. I was just questioning the people who were laughing at the idea of there not being too much demand. Is there demand at the rate of 100k a day for people currently displaying symptoms who haven't had a test?
  8. The point is there isn't currently much motivation for people who may have had it a few weeks ago to get a test now because it may not even show anything other than negative the antibody test is a different thing and that's very much worth the effort.
  9. I don't believe it would.
  10. Isn't part of it also that it's now for people who are currently showing symptoms. So that excludes anyone who may have had symptoms and anyone not showing symptoms which maybe doesn't leave multiple thousands every single day. Maybe they should make the testing compulsory instead rather like how south Korea have done it.
  11. Yes but how are people going to dictate to those countries that they can only have one child per family whilst others can do what they like? It's not going to happen is it.
  12. Tbf it is a good point though. Its going to get to a point where it doesn't matter how many green policies there are, the sheer amount of people will ruin things regardless. People don't want to have that conversation though because it goes down a dark road where you either limit child numbers or talk about mass culling.
  13. All key workers and families wasn't it?
  14. I'm glad he isn't dead but I'm not encouraging to return on here or anything.
  15. Genuinely hope soggy is OK. Hasn't posted in over a month.
  16. I already said him!
  17. On the face of it that does seem like a really stupid and potentially deadly error.
  18. What does passing the buck to the science even mean? They've set out the criteria that needs to be met before the lockdown is ended. Making decisions independent of the science would be incredibly dumb. It's only idiots in the media that demand an exact date for things.
  19. Does calling someone a fascist or a nazi have a level of stigma about it that is greater than calling someone a lefty, far left or even a communist? Simple question. Oh and I certainly don't think I'm more on the right. Like most people I am right leaning on some things and more left on others. I've voted more left wing in the past and may do so again in the future if there's anything worth voting for.
  20. That's true but blanketing a load of people as soppy lefties doesn't have the same stigma as calling someone a fascist or a nazi.
  21. It's the social media generation who don't actually know what far right means. It's an idiots way to pretend they've won an argument and it's led to disgusting scenes where employers and sponsors have been written to and scared off by warriors on social media.
  22. Sounds fairly standard for those type of people then.
