It sounds like soggy is hoping to highjack this thread to go off on one again about how everyone is racist, doesn't care about any other attacks other than ones committed by Muslims etc etc. It's a topic he's returned to on a number of occasions over the last few years. Heres a reply or two about the same issue from last year:

How do you propose to do that?

Unless you're engaging in some sort of thought crime where you preemptively ban people who may decide to racially abuse a player there's literally nothing that social media can do. The best thing the players can do is to block anyone abusing them and report it and you'd hope the authorities would take the appropriate action if they can be traced to the UK. If they can't accept the reality that there are idiots on social media then they should do as you suggest and leave.

If I was in North Korea and I was one of the tiny percentage of people who had access to the full internet, I'd be sending all manner of racist abuse to every black player in the prem knowing it would rile up the pearl clutches such as yourself to go into overdrive and sow discord. My point is we have absolutely no idea where the abuse is from, nor do we have any idea about the motivations for the abuse. Imbeciles like yourself will leap upon it and twist it to suit your lunatic narrative but the sad fact is- as has been pointed out to you many times- there will always be racist idiots on the Internet. If Trump had never happened do you expect there wouldn't be trolls on the Internet giving some players racist abuse for missing a penalty? Its pathetic but I'm not sure what anyone can do when literally everyone in the world including actual racists- not the pretend ones you see round every corner- can log on.

It didn't take long for your true insidious nature to be revealed. Ad hominem attacks on my character, insinuations that I'm not a real fan and that I don't attend games (a truly personal slight and egregious assault on my identity as a saints fan.), microaggressions and white privilege dripping from every poison soaked word you've written. I think the punishment is a 6 game ban for online hate and I'm assuming the admin will be duty bound to turf over your personal details once the club make an official request.
