I don't actually know but maybe Gao insisted they go ahead with it? It's not like you'd voluntarily dump a legit sponsor like virgin and dive feet first into something with these shady characters. So it's not really a total sell to buy scenario. You'd imagine we would have had more to play with if we hadn't hamstrung ourselves for a number of years with this baggage.
