Swearing at SMS .... tolerable or offensive ?
hypochondriac replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
Most people who aren't morons knows it's unacceptable to sit in the family section and shout sweary abuse at the players. If you bring kids to the Northam then you know exactly what to expect abd it's entirely your own fault if you choose to get annoyed by it. -
Really? Not for me. I'll feel empathy for people going through cancer battles but I'll also feel bloody annoyed when we get well beaten. Tragedies like early deaths from cancer don't change that. I think if anyone can't separate feelings about football abd feelings about cancer sufferers they know then they need to get some therapy or something like that.

That article is remarkable in that it says virtually nothing. Terrible interview.
-
Can add him to the forren signing as a real head scratcher.
-
You realise you are all replying to an 8 year old post right?
-
Fair enough. Pretty much what I'd imagine he would say.
-
Hi Adam. Glad to see you still haven't won a trophy yet. I hope you get copious amount of abuse every time you play saints and that it makes you cry harder than when you got confronted in a nightclub. I wish you nothing bit misery xxx

Carillo on his own tonight in ocean Village. Seems happy enough though and good to see he is settling in. All the Bournemouth team are out there too.
-
Yep. About 4 or 5 teams at the top are decent, the rest are terrible.
-
Players that need to be binned from the starting lineup: Davis, Romeu, Long. Team will be a lot stronger when we have Austin back competing with Carillo for a starting place. Feeling slightly more positive for the first time in months, what a difference three points makes!
-
Also how good was Lemina? He should play every single game.
-
Absolutely huge result so well done saints. Still slight concern that we had to score 3 in order to get the win and still some nervy times (I'd give a lot for a boring 2-0!) but a win is a win. We badly need to build on this result, show some adventure and prove this isn't just a false dawn but the good news is we are out of the relegation zone for now. Huge month or so coming up.
-
Romeu for hojbjerg for me would have been perfect but I'm not going to quibble over one player choice. A much better starting lineup than previous games so let's see how it goes. Hopefully the change of lineup will also see a change of tactics.
-
Yep. I know we have said this a lot this year but this really is last chance saloon.
-
Won't somebody please think of the children!
-
Probably move out of the relegation zone with a draw too so it can be spun pretty effectively.
-
We will draw and he will stay you can almost guarantee it!
-
Nah. The club marketing machine will have told him what to say. The players know exactly where we are I am sure.
-
Who knows but we can definitely attract someone who would give us a better chance of getting out of this mess than the current incumbent.
-
Here we have soggy doing what he loves to do best- being cringe inducingly pompous, getting on his high horse and looking down his nose at fellow fans whilst feeling ever so superior. I wonder how many more games without a league win it would take for you to stop criticising fellow saints fans and actually aim a bit of criticism at the management? Probably never because you get more fulfillment out of acting supercilious and pretending you're a better class of person than others. I'd genuinely rather spend a lifetime watching a looped compilation video of Alpine's most negative forum comments than have to spend a single second in your company if you're even vaguely like the type of character you portray on here. I hope for your sake you're not because otherwise I can see why you saw so much hostility in Maidstone. Discerning bunch those Maidstonians.
-
I don't disbelieve it! Popularity with staff and players on its own should not be a reason to keep the manager though and once again it's a failure to realise what's most important- results and performances.
-
Utterly barmy. How could anyone not want to get rid of him at this point? He's our least successful manager of all time...
-
Yawn. You knew exactly what I meant.
-
OK but effectively he will have been sacked after tomorrow if that were the case it just wouldn't have been announced until we can get someone else in. I'd like to think we coukd be a bit quicker than that and I wouldn't want to keep him longer than is absolutely necessary but who knows what the club will end up doing, it's hard to predict nowadays.
-
Ideal scenario now is a draw tomorrow- because they won't sack him otherwise- followed by an immediate sacking and replacement with any of the names banded about. Put a little run together and survive and then sack the lot of them in the summer.
