How is pointing out that a poster displays clear signs of a condition like autism picking on someone? Unless you think that having autism is a problem?

No one disagrees with that and no one wants us to spend vast amounts we can't afford. Most just want us to return to what we were doing a few seasons ago- scouting and buying some hidden gems with decent potential, employing an exciting manager who sets us up to play attractive attacking football and investing the money that we do have in the correct areas. I think most people would be happy to finish mid table the majority of the time with the occasional foray into a European place.
-
Don't forget potentially playing someone who hasn't scored in almost a full calendar year as our lone striker.
-
Tbf that would be easier to do if he wasn't so relentless with it. I accept he has a condition of some kind though, that much is obvious.

Really nervous about this one. Loads of reasons why we coukd win this one so will probably contrive to lose it. I reckon a draw though most likely.

Football clubs and gender neutral pronouns.

What's small minded about questioning those who decide to identify as neither male nor female? -
Football clubs and gender neutral pronouns.

That's because you are inculcated in a heteronormative perspective and a victim of patriarchy. -
Bournemouth and Swansea will be the first premier league clubs to offer gender neutral title prefixes for those who identify as non binary. The prefix 'Mx'- pronounced Mix - will now be offered to all supporters who want to identify as neither male or female. What are your thoughts on this? A progressive step and something we should be encouraging to make football more inclusive? Or a bizarre perversion of language to encourage the pretence that there is more than two genders? Or something in between? Should saints be pushing for this too? https://www.swanseacity.com/news/swans-introduce-gender-neutral-prefix

I think your thoughts would be best addressed in a letter. Make sure to check the address to ensure that Mr Goa receives it.

Which is why I'm really not fussed about a statement. I'll judge him on his actions of which there have been none so far.
-
Of course it wouldn't go amiss but no point worrying about a lack of statement. We have no idea either positive or negative what he is going to do yet and I'm frankly fed up with empty words from the club.
-
Quite possible but nothing he has done yet can be a particular cause for concern as he hasn't actually done anything yet.
-
He really hasn't done anything yet. It's a bit dramatic to say noticing he has done fills you with confidence. Depressed of Shirley indeed.

I haven't copied anyone you loon. The reason others haven't been accused like you is because none of them are posting in a sarcastic way and with a supercilious manner. They also aren't calling the vast majority on here reactionary or knee jerk because they aren't happy with the football that has been dished up and have little faith that things can change.
-
He obviously hasn't sat through all the games this season.
-
Are you seriously trying to suggest that our performances thus far are the same as the other teams in the league? You realise that statistically we have scored the fewest amount of goals at home and over the entire year represent the WORST value for money of every time in the league by some significant distance? That's before you even look at the style of play.

I can't see how he can survive Sunday without a comprehensive win and a decent performance. I expect if we start losing the atmosphere will turn ugly and I can see chants against the manager

It starts with a shot on target...

Do you have to be a contrarion in every thread in a desperate attempt to feel superior? Football has changed and is nothing like it was under those two managers, there is so much at stake that teams can no longer afford to give managers a season and hope that they turn things around. You would hope that a new manager would try some new things and get some more out of the players. I believe fans have much more of a tolerance for managers that do this and who you can see is making us better even if it's a slow process. Comments from our current manager about how we need to keep doing the same things and how we are playing well show that the managers has little idea of any problems and it is for that reason that he needs to be replaced with someone who does recognise the issues and who demonstrates improved performances and a less dull and defensive mindset.
-
Personally I think if we lose on Sunday and don't show any spirit or fight like we have done in almost every game this season then i think I will be toxic and I can't see how he can last another week. If it's the same team with the same tactics and formation on Sunday then I'll expect him to be gone by next Wednesday.

If you look at our three wins this season, you realise it could be so much worse. Had we not had that superb solo effort from boufal or the last minute penalty against the hammers then we would be much worse off. We haven't had a great performance all season and have looked unconvincing even in victory.
