  1. No.
  2. So it's something work bearing in mind considering the poster in question has been seeking contentment through saintsweb
  3. It's not going to make you less depressed...
  4. No idea maybe you should aim that question at those who are saying that. The only beef I ever had with him was his interviews talking about players staying and then selling players afterwards. I don't have an extensive knowledge of people who do the same job as Reed but I imagine when he does leave we will do our homework and hopefully get someone in decent. I will say though that I think if he was ultimately responsible for the last two managerial appointments then he has messed up a bit.
  5. And Woodward.
  6. Let's be honest no one on here really knows his credentials. We have zero idea what decisions he has or has not been personally responsible for. Personally I wouldn't be pushing for his removal because I don't know what financial constraints he has been under.
  7. Pretty much this. No one was begging for stuart gray to be given more time when he was clearly out of his depth. Like you I'd give him a bit longer but when nothing has changed from last year then what is the point in persisting?
  8. I think the worry is with how easy our start has been, we could easily be sucked into a relegation scrap.
  9. Edit: double post.
  10. Its not really an emotional response is it. It's a response based on the fact we have seen no positive change from last season. If we got rid of puel because of the style of play and the poor performances then I'm assuming pellegrino shouldn't be feeling particularly comfortable. I'd give him until Christmas at the moment but if we are hovering around the relegation zone then I would get rid and bring in someone more willing to change our style of play to suit the players we have at our disposal.
  11. Hmm. We got a point but another poor performance that was lacking in entertainment for long periods
  12. And saints scoring means I don't even get the silver lining of points for my fantasy team.
  13. You will get a load of sh*t for this post from the usual people but if we fail to change the system then I can't see how he can stay. This is turgid rubbish.
  14. He's been no worse than anyone else. They've all been rubbish.
  15. I couldn't remember one but I've only vaguely been paying attention because I'm bored solid again.
  16. Have we had a shot on target yet?
  17. You realise it's possible to write posts from a phone even if you have gone to a game?
  18. Pretty much this. Absolutely no point on getting hung up on things like Trump that you have zero control over. Enjoy things with your partner if you have one, watch the football but don't take it too seriously, come on here to blow off a bit of steam and argue with the usual suspects and goon holidays and experience other cultures. Be thankful you've been born where you are where these things are available to you rather than north Korea or some other hell hole that you can't escape. Life really isn't that bad it's just that modern technology makes it seem a lot worse.
  19. Do you believe that it is not the case that Muslims in the UK and abroad have more regressive views with regards to homosexuality than the average views of the rest of the UK? Clearly this is the case even if you ignore polls and look at the anecdotal evidence of the experiences of homosexuals from the community and by actually talking to UK based Muslims.
  20. No I wasn't I was talking about the higher rate of regressive attitudes with regards to homosexuality in the UK Muslim community in comparison to the average attitudes of the rest of the UK population. You're the one who decided to play whataboutery with catholics. That has zero relevance to the topic and clearly this tactic was used to try to avoid admitting that there is a problem here. It's nothing like you talking about paedophilia unless you have statistics that suggest that attitudes to paedophilia amongst catholics differ dramatically from the attitudes of the rest of the UK- I strongly suspect this is not the case.
  21. Again, absolutely no relevance to regressive attitudes within the Islamic community. Simply deflection.
  22. Why do you continually indulge in whataboutery and refuse to discuss the issues? The Catholic church is entirely irrelevant in this conversation and it appears you are just deflecting rather like soggy does.
  23. Jwp does but he's pants.
  24. Of course not but it's yet more evidence of these types of attitudes. The vast majority of Muslims do not support homosexuality and many believe it should be made illegal. It's hardly the most controversial statement in the world but some are incapable of having a simple conversation about it without indulging in whataboutery or denying that it is the case.
  25. http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/muslim-islam-gay-marriage-relationships-faith-pride-christianity-culture-a7835671.html%3Famp Many argue that to be gay and Muslim is an utter irreconcilability – “no Muslim is gay” was a remark I saw on*Twitter today. When one learns that The Muslim Council of Britain opposed same-sex marriage in 2013, we understand how these views are generated. So again I ask, are you suggesting that on average, UK Muslims do not hold more regressive views regarding homosexuality than the rest of the UK population? If you are suggesting that then you're just denying facts at this point and I would suggest are being wilfully ignorant.
