Oh I agree he won't be sacked. I'm just hoping if we do lose that it's a drubbing so the pressure on him ramps up and maybe he will think of fecking off before West Ham.

"Whilst the board are aware of the serious situation, they are relaxed and confident that Pellegrino will be able to get the necessary results over the remainder of the season."
-
If the club come out and say anything at all- which I doubt- then that is exactly what they will say. Probably something about continuity being important for the remainder of the season too.
-
If losing this gets him sacked then I'd be OK with it.
-
Only reason not to sack him now is if they care more about looking foolish than wanting the club to not get relegated. Not sacking him today shows where their priorities lie.

The first half of spurs away has to be up there. I watched it with a spurs fan and he turned to me at half time and said if his team had played like that then he would be livid. It was like a training game.
-
Yep. Combined with the sale of our best play in January and then the failure to spend hardly any of the money, I don't think a club has ever done less to try to prevent relegation in the history of the league. I am starting to wonder why that is. It's absolutely baffling.

My father in law loves me. Thanks for the concern xxx

I think when we look back on this period in a few years, that article will be one of the most memorable things. It sums up our entire season, why we are very likely to go down and how arrogance and ineptitude has prevented us from stopping something that could have been so easily prevented. A total shambles and a disgrace. I'm not sure I have ever seen a situation so badly managed in all my years supporting this team. I'd rather have Lowe...

Losing this game will be the final nail in the coffin of this season (after losing to Wigan of course.) The board show no signs of acting and they've chosen the slow descent to relegation- I honestly have no idea why.
-
If he isn't sacked today then he isn't going anywhere for the rest of the season and we are going down. I just don't understand why the club would sit on their hands at this stage.

Another possible reason why the clown is still with us

Ha. What an complete and utter load of b*llocks. More likely that our voice doesn't get heard because of absolutely brain dead threads like this one. -
Their reputations should no longer matter. Our only chance of survival- however slim- is making a change and hoping it works out.

#prayforMaidstone. Stop Romanian genocide now.

Regardless of what you thought of cortese- and I really disliked him- he was prepared to sack adkins even when adkins had done well. These guys won't even sack the worst performing Premier league manager over a season.
-
What I don't understand is if they do absolutely nothing now and we get relegated as we almost certainly will, surely they will get much more stick than making a change and trying to change something.
-
Not that any of you REALLY believe it.....

Put this on a while ago and added another £20 a few weeks later when I couldn't believe the odds. Either we stay up and I'm happy or we go down and I have some cash to make me feel better. -
The likes of jonnyboy, Saint_Ash and Lord duckhunter from the first page have highlighted their poor judgement by deriding the views of people who watch and attend games and could see exactly where this was heading back in October. If only the board had listened to those awful "bedwetters" and "reactionaries" back then we may not be in this mess.
-
Looks like I called it...
-
Yep. Probably too late anyway but it's literally our very last chance to possibly stay up. He needs to go this week.
-
Because he can't help being totally inept. He's quite clearly way out of his depth but if the board refuse to sack him then I can't blame him for jot wanting to leave his well paid job voluntarily.
-
The only apology acceptable is his resignation.
-
I don't blame him at all. Anyone in his position would do the same thing. That said he should have gone in November. It's astounding he is still here.
-
Pretty sure no manager has kept their job under these circumstances before. We are unique in English football.

Something is going on behind the scenes
