At its most basic, that's the function of females across all species just as in the majority of cases it's is the males job to fertilise them. First function of a species is to survive and without those two basic things the species would die.

Well when it comes down to it, the primary function of all females from all is to give birth in order to continue the species. Still wondering where those posts are Andy.
