  1. I don't know about the vilified bit but again no one seems to be able to answer the remorse bit. If in his mind he is adamant that he didn't rape her, why would he show public remorse about it? He is probably more intent on clearing his name for what in his mind is an injustice. If you were in his situation and felt the way that you felt about it would you show remorse?
  2. Will give us a chance to do what we have done so successfully on the pitch and replace someone we didn't know needed replacing with someone better.
  3. I'm disappointed he wasn't forced into gardening leave for six months. Doesn't seem right that he can just take up with Spurs and use all our secrets.
  4. It's all made up by those nasty journalists who get paid for us to fail.
  5. There will be lots of blacks out if you vote ukip
  6. Fair enough but I thought south Africa was an appaling world cup. One of the worst.
  7. Two out of every three should be in an established football nation (possibly in Europe) with the third year saved for taking the game elsewhere within reason. Screw all this taking it to South Africa Russia and Qatar. They have been or will be terrible world cups.
  8. It was indeed for exactly the same reason that Qatar will be absolutely terrible.
  9. In which case their more mad ideas will be moderated, rather like both parties in coalition this time.
  10. He is never going to be in power so who cares if he has a few mad ideas that will never be implemented? That isn't why people vote for him.
  11. If I were him I'd probably go and play abroad.
  12. Who decides what jobs are allowed and which ones aren't? What crimes mean you would be excluded from football and which ones would it be OK to return? Is sexual assault OK? Or death by dangerous driving?
  13. Exactly right and on another note, nice to see those with differing opinions being able to discuss this sensibly without the troglodytes from earlier screaming daily mail headlines all over the place.
  14. 25 minutes isn't it?
  15. Would agree with that.
  16. If you are clever you can install xbmc on an android phone (as I have with my s4.) you can then get the sportsnation and offside streams adding if you have them and watch whenever you like.
  17. Yeah but you just said there are no good players in bad teams which is quite clearly nonsense. One player might not be responsible for the result of the team and it doesn't make them a bad player.
  18. Well that's a shock that absolutely no one expected...
  19. Yeah but that isn't foolproof is it. Just finished reading law and disorder by John Douglas and the miscarriages of justice he talks about are very interesting. Not saying that is the case here, I guess we will find out at the conclusion of any appeal but even then you can rarely be certain about a crime like rape. The justice system is always very difficult, I'm glad I'm not responsible for it!
  20. Impossible to prove either way really. It's clearly a difficult case since it's only ched and his mate who know what really happened and the girl clearly has no memory. If following an appeal his conviction is overturned, he is still an utter idiot for putting himself in that situation and I'm amazed his girlfriend is still with him.
  21. So if you genuinely thought you were innocent of a crime you would be remorseful? Imagine if you were convicted of something you feel you didn't do then surely you wouldn't admit guilt. That doesn't denigrate the terrible crime of rape in any way and it's a shame you have wilfully misinterpreted my comments so that you get thick types screaming rape apologist. If ched Evans did it and he knows he did and is now lying then he deserves everything he gets, but in reality only he knows the truth, not the jury or even the girl involved.
  22. And we are the ones criticised because we clearly will have been the only ones who cooperated fully with the process!
  23. It's a disgrace and an absolute whitewash as we all knew it would be. Nothing will change for years, let's hope blatter pops his clogs soon.
  24. Who said that that isn't rape? I said that she herself didn't cry rape but that the jury interpreted as rape not that it wasn't. I'm not party to all the details of the case it will be interesting to see if an appeal succeeds.
