  1. The deluded few find that concept difficult to grasp.
  2. Nope. Praised the club for signing forster and tadic. Also our performance against Liverpool if you fancy going back to check. Problem is these things are never commented on so you assume I am always looking for a negative which is simply not the case. No one has whined like a toddler, it's just another weakening of the squad and yet another bad news story this summer. Losing someone who no doubt would have been a useful squad addition as the season progressed is hardly reason to cheer is it? Your last sentence is nonsensical rubbish to be perfectly honest. No one would have slagged the club off had he stayed.
  3. Posters like you always equate clapping mindlessly like a seal at every club decision as support.
  4. I predict one more in. I also predict numerous threads by the usual suspects with topics such as "what did you expect?" "let's just support the team" and "why we have a stronger squad now."
  5. No news of any significant strengthening and almost every position weaker than May is a bad news story in itself. Besides, it has been quieter on here re negativity due to the deluge of bad news abating somewhat. Taider situation is just another to add to the list.
  6. You do realise there are individuals in these Muslim countries who are putting their own lives at risk to fight these extremists? Probably don't have much time for protesting as well.
  7. My Arabic relatives believe that the Islamic State as a concept has been exaggerated in the western media and that these atrocities committed by "Islam" have been encouraged as part of a propaganda war against Muslims. It has the effect of both eroding civil liberties in the UK (new powers for the police today etc) and provides further justification for the Israelis. Not sure how true that viewpoint is.
  8. So would I. I never said I didn't want us to prioritise the cups. I just don't tdon'thibk dismantling the team in the manner they have done is part of some master plan to prioritise the cups this season. We are weaker in every area apart from gk and maybe midfield you could argue is similar.
  9. We are certainly a lot closer to relegation than last season and could well go down if circumstances conspire against us. In case you hadn't noticed, this is a forum and people tend to post their reactions on it. As it happens, this summer we have had pretty much a continuous flow of bad news stories so no wonder people are going to express frustration and annoyance at how the team has been dismantled. If you can't handle someone expressing their frustration at yet another bad news story today (Taider) then it's probably better that you log off. You carping on and moaning about it isn't going to stop people from posting, it just means they have one more moaning post to wade through!
  10. Ah so our transfer activity this summer was all about prioritising the cups instead of the league. I hadn't realised that!
  11. Why do you assume that everyone who doesn't have your unrealistic attitude wants saints to fail? That's just incorrect.
  12. The forum has a load of fantasists and dullards who get mortally offended and abusive when someone dares to suggest that this summer has been atrocious for sfc.
  13. But also because although we were 8th last season, it was very much bottom of the top teams rather than down with the rest.
  14. Don't think that's true at all. Have lost no one of consequence, have strengthened at cb, lb and in midfield. Are extremely likely to make a number of signings on deadline day as well.
  15. Much better than any of the bilge you spew out.
  16. Agree with every word of that. Excellent post.
  17. It has been abysmal. I think the majority of saints fans would accept that. We clearly won't be finishing anywhere near where we did last season. I'm still going tomorrow and will cheer on the team, but let's not pretend that this window has been anything other than disastrous for the club.
  18. As long as we don't go down then yes.
  19. Looked like a decent player to me. Hasn't had to have played yet for the team to be weakened. If gardos left tomorrow the squad would be weakened and he hasn't even played a game yet.
  20. I think everyone realised Ralph was talking out of his arris months ago. Except maybe wes perhaps. We will be weaker overall at lb, probably cb, rb, midfield and attack.
  21. Shambolic to be perfectly honest. The one area we had great cover and it gets weakened further.
  22. Where is this being reported? Shambles if so...
  23. Thanks mate. Picked a couple up this morning.
  24. But clearly if Remy had gone to Liverpool, our chances of getting him would have increased.
