  1. Very true! Well said.
  2. Why do you think anyone would be somehow outraged that our manager forced a player to stay? We care about sfc on here not boruc.
  3. Brilliant. Players don't give a toss about clubs so why should the clubs give a toss about players? Boruc has to stay and we are stronger for it. Frankly that is all I care about. Sorry if that upsets you.
  4. Haha. You guaranteed he would leave and we wouldn't let him.
  5. No idea but according to you we aren't even allowed to discuss the possibility. Could it be that they will look to sign him in January if he demonstrates he has recovered with us? Possibly.
  6. OK so are you going to be the arbiter then about what national newspaper stories are allowed to be discussed in here and what stories aren't?
  7. Erm because it was reported in the newspaper so is worthy of discussion I would have thought. I know you enjoy ignoring news stories that you perceive to be negative, but it doesn't mean everyone else has to copy you.
  8. Get in!! 2-0. Cracking finish.
  9. Who is wynter? He looks ****.
  10. I'm praying they stay down and Eastleigh win promotion. That would be incredible...
  11. Honestly who gives a toss? We will easily qualify whatever happens. The euro qualifying is now an utter non event and England will have no games worth watching until at least 2016.
  12. Can't you use the one from bearsy above? I think it says it all.
  13. Was this the reason?
  14. How have you come to form your opinions about the Muslim community and how widespread and numerous the problems they create are? Is it something you have personally experienced?
  15. Significant numbers? Granted you could argue that just one who does that is significant but your implication there is that it's quite a large number of the community. Is that the case? Again what percentage of the Muslim community of Britain does this apply to do you reckon? And how many of them do you reckon are "significantly unintegrated" and what barometer is used to establish their "integratedness?" (sic) No need to continue with the mild insults, it's just a discussion. I'm not calling you a racist or anything like that, just wondering what your experience of these Islamic communities is. It seems like you have been personally affected by these hoards of Muslims Islamifying (again a definition of this would be helpful.) huge swathes of Britain. Is this the case?
  16. Irene? What happened to your absolute guarantee that artur was leaving?
  17. Could you describe what you mean by islamification? Do you mean building a mosque and a halal chicken shop?
  18. What percentage of the Islamic community in Britain - by your reckoning- isn't integrated and considers it acceptable to blow themselves up? Just a ballpark figure will do.
  19. Every Muslim I know (and I know some very well as my father in law is one) has condemned IS and Muslim extremists. They have called them idiots and nothing to do with them. How does that square with being scared of a mosque?
  20. The sad thing is that is exactly what would happen.
  21. It's a crass generalisation (and factually inaccurate) to refer to all those of the Muslim faith living in Britain as the Muslim community as if they all come from the same place and all have the same mindset. I assure you that an Arab from Iraq is not going to take too kindly being lumped in with a Saudi. That's part of the problem with putting everyone in a box marked Muslims just as if we did the same to all Christians.
  22. By islamified do you mean people who are Muslims moving into the area? If so then that sort of thing isn't exactly new, I just don't see it as a problem or something that is hugely widespread as you imply. Being scared of a religious building like a mosque is ridiculous and just makes you come across as ignorant to be honest. I don't see anything scary in a halal butchers nor do I view a "Muslim population" in the negative way that you do. You claim to know plenty of Muslims but your reply suggests otherwise. Have you had this conversation with them? What was their response?
  23. Indeed. Even Polish adverts in a number of banks! I suppose that maybe I have a different perspective because I employ these people and so speak to them on a daily basis and are thus less inclined to see them as a threat. Every Polish person I have spoken to has nothing but fantastic things to say about Britain and how much more accepted they feel over here than in Poland. There are a ton of capable and hard working poles who are striving to create a better life for their family. Personally I believe it's a great thing and it's the same with the vast majority of Muslims.
  24. Couldn't give a toss about either to be perfectly honest. I certainly don't see it as offensive any more than I would do any other place of worship being built on my road. Freedom of religion is one of the things I love about this country. Britain has always been about a mix of different cultures and influences, it's one of the reason we have been so successful historically. Halal means nothing to me, it's still meat and tastes just the same as non Halal. I've never shopped at the car phone warehouse but that doesn't mean I have a problem with its existence. Maybe if you got to know some Muslims you would feel less threatened by them? The vast majority I would suspect would be extremely hospitable and open to other cultures. That is certainly my experience, things like "England is my country, I love it, I have raised my family here and I would die for it." that's from an Iraqi I spoke to last week who has been here since 1972 and I know that many others feel exactly the same.
