Nah there is definitely some racist elements in wider society (if that term works better for you). I don't think the crowd at the football is any worse than anywhere else with regards to racism or Sexism. As you say, it's really in a minority at the football and also in this country.

Look at the Sexism thread. More than one person but that poster is the worst. I think there is probably a small amount of racism at the football but no worse than in normal society. I certainly don't think our society is deeply racist or sexist.

The person who has said similar knows who they are. In fact they posted recently on this thread.

Yep and me. It does appear that these "we're all racist and sexist and should be thoroughly ashamed, what a disgrace we all are" types are in the minority thankfully.

Excellent. One idiot who as swiftly dealt with by everyone else, that is nice to see. I know we live in a deeply deeply sexist and racist society, but it's nice to see that when these isolated incidents do occur that people feel empowered to put a stop to it quickly. More power to them.

Well he says he complained but would be good to know what this complaint involved. I'll be honest though, I didn't read the post properly.

He claims that the statement "Saints not racist" (the title of the OP) is at odds with what he has experienced. I was interested to know what his experiences were that mean he believes that there are racists at saints games.

How did this saints fan racially abuse a player? Why didn't you say somethibg at the time or report him to kick it out?

What racist incidents have you experienced at the football then? Would you say it is dramatically more than society in general?
