Thought there was no need for paxman to get personal and I thought ed came out of that interview quite well. Having said that he was still trounced on the economy and Europe.
This from a BBC news article earlier made me lol:
In a black T-shirt and with his hair up in his trademark man bun, Harry wandered around the stage with his head in his hands and wiping away tears.
Is there some technical reason why they can't have live streaming audio or video inside all planes? I mean we can get pictures back from space millions of miles away. Is it simply a cost issue? It seems bizarre that in this day and age we have some antiquated black box and voice recorder.
I was under the impression that there were very few Asians in the English game, not due to racism but because a very low number actually played the game in this country. Have you ever been to an English football game?
That doesn't make you right though. At the end of the day many of the conclusions you reach in that article are just opinion. It seems that your main contention that racist is a big problem in football comes from Jason Roberts- someone who is clearly biased on this issue and has in the past been guilty of crying racism at the first opportunity.
The Rooney rule is a terrible idea because it means that preferential treatment is given to a minority in the form of an interview. If I was passed over for an interview in favour of a black candidate based purely on a quota system then I would be livid. Similarly if I were a minority and I was not given an interview not because if my prowess then I would feel worthless.
