Well all that matters is that a combination of the way he treated staff, the training ground overspend, sponsorship, corporate etc was enough for katherina to get rid. I doubt she saw it as just a drop in the ocean, it is clearly viewed as more important at other clubs.

I think people are confusing getting us to the prem (a great achievement that should be applauded and which made a huge difference financially) and idiocy like the training ground overspend or the sponsorship debacle. Just because he helped us to promotion does not then mean that the the chairman has carte blanche to neglect bits of the business and do what the hell he likes simply because of the money he has made us previously.

On the surface it appears to be a pretty smalltime appointment but I'm quite happy to give them the benefit of the doubt and see how it goes. Katherina has done and said all of the right things so far so I'm willing to see how this goes too.
