Can give you very easy answer to this! Other teams around us performing week in week out??? Since Adknis has been here we have consistently out performed teams around us. In the time he has been here we have got 2 more points than B'mth(in less games), 5 more than Huddersfield, 8 more than Oldham and MK, 10 more than Charlton, 13 more than Colchester, 14 more than Peterborough. So who are these teams around us who are more consistent - or was it made up??!! Adkins tinkering has taken us from depths of the league to the most, bar Brighton just, consistent side in the league. IMHO You are wrong. Rant over (feel better now )

needed a sub winger - got two who have reguarly started in league above - both with better pedigree than Antonio. needed CM got young one who has played at higher levels. What are you expecting? Messi?! Pardew needed players - Adkins didn't.

strange if they are out of their depth as subs in league 1. Forte - just dropped from Championship side where he has started 22 games this season, 2nd highest in their assist, 4 th in goals. N'Guessan - just dropped from Championship squad, out of favour recently but started 5 times this season, 19 times last - with 6 goals.

Daren - the comparison with Lowe is one we will always have. Bottom line is a chairman is judged on team performance and crowd support. Lowe had this at times (Hoddle, cup final)- but once that drops the personality and PR flaws are examined. Cortese seems to be running a tight ship, having things going in the right direction - team heading up, crowds very good.
