Comments that you may feel appropriate with your mates at football etc maybe insulting to female colleagues at work or make them feel uncomfortable - they become inappropriate and your employer has every right to do something about it. These comments were made at work. Think a lot who support these views are pretty insecure - what difference can a match official gender possibly make? Only one I can think is a positive one.

these aren't comments in pub, football club etc - but workplace. If he had been taped saying these one night in pub, would have been bit a publicity and thats it.

His dad's not coming out of this looking great. Short answer, like most things with saints re signings / contracts etc, we know nothing!!

Maybe not a high chance, but all three team promoted from league 1 last season are now in top 9 of championship. 1 in automatic place, 1 in play offs and 1 three places off play offs. Two of those teams we significantly out performed over the 2nd half of the season, and all possibly without the investment we could have in championship. A lot to hope for but no far fetched.

This is only a small risk. He is young lad who has played in handful of games. The next tranfer window is only few months away - a time when he can hopefully be scoring goals and winning promotion with us. I don't think its a given that Nicola won't turn down approaches.
