  1. true, and guess we would do the same if one of our "stars" was out for the season - but they aren't. Still think we should/will strengthen as back up but not sure of your point?
  2. Marwell New Forest Southbourne
  3. was just about to add that - most ages enjoy, what age(s) are yours Baj?
  4. biggest success this summer (if it finishes that way) is keeping Lallana, Fonte, Schneiderlin and Lambert.
  5. hadn't really let it run down as they knew they had a automatic right to add a year without his consent
  6. trouble is, if rumours are right, Reading are trying to take advantage of our link with Antonio and asking unrealistic price for player with his record.
  7. if they don't have money coming in, I think they could find there natural level in football is league 1. they were only 32 in average attendances last seasons despite being in premiership. This year they are likely to average about 13-14000, which would put them about 43rd in the country - relegated from Npower.
  8. thing that sticks out on this thread is how many on here are young!! of all those the most shocking one for me was keegan - still find it hard to believe we signed the current european player of the year - can you imagine now the team finishing 14th in premiership, with a ground holding about 15,000, no big money - signing Messi!
  9. exactly, we don't know how much there was to spend, or is now - and 14 days to go. A lot up in the air
  10. lost out on Milner - confirmed at Man city
  11. Relegated Hull last season in prem average 24,390 - first game in Npower Championship, against Swansea - 21,468 Burnley last season in prem average 20,654, first game against Notts Forest 17,496 skates last season in prem 18,302, first game against Reading 16,400 So the smallest crowd of any relgated team but not huge drop - although boosted by Reading. Thinks its fair to say they are poorly supported.
  12. would be happy with season long loan - Jack Cork has gone out on season long loan after Chelsea giving him longer contract - there will be some good young prem players who would be ideal for back up to RL or to come off the bench
  13. deleted... reading two threads at once meant my reply was too slow re Cardiff!!
  14. you probably think its just because league 1 gets more crowds! you can win the league position for one more year (taking it to 7 out of 50+) but you cannot win the bigger support one.
  15. no think we should build pressure bit more then winning streak
  16. 2 points per game should be plenty
  17. and they did!
  18. other nick
  19. can I report over /incorrect use of the cliche "must win" game?
  20. then it really would be a "must win" game!
  21. weird
  22. The club, players, Cortesse, any family/friends of Markus who are watching, could all do with the lift of a sell out. As someone said- - if you enjoyed the JPT is it too much to ask?
  23. not seen one who is.
  24. tongue in cheek? whooosh!
  25. That's not what this thread is saying - no-one is happy to wait 7 games for a win, thinks it likely or think that we will have good chance of promotion if we do What people are saying is that it is ridiculous to say this is a "must win" game, any more or less than others - I would not have been celebrating promotion if we had won first two games, and won't give up if we lose first two.
