why wouldn't I want the club I support and pay to watch win? I am not after status quo but the best for the club not having fun picking holes in everything. I think Pardew is as good as manager as we are likely to get, he has done well so far so should stay. Suppose you want him replaced with Dodd like last time you called for a manager to go?

need a launch pad for a run of good form
-
reckon we should stick with Pardew.

We both know you usually agree with me but are just too stubborn to admit it!

Was thinking the same about different opinions, Puncheon was operating right infront of where I sit in the first half (he move not me for 2nd). Thought he had great first touch and beat his man with ease, played some really cutting through balls that forwards didn't quite make. Maybe he was not so good 2nd half when he was bit far for my eyesight! Jaidi had a game of two halves - (although had little to do in first half) 2nd lost a lot of headers.

didn't think NC cared about PR?
-
agree. Think he is plenty good enough for us. If he is failing miserably (which I doubt) then of course he will be (and need to be) replaced, if he is on target, or there abouts we need to stick with him

10 defeats would be a problem, but ain't going to happen
-
can't remember but well before end of last season
-
bad decision but hardly the issue that the Sun make it. Journos thinking a problem for them is a problem for us
-
were back last season, months ago - covered on other thread
-
Martin O'Neill it is then
-

not amongst fans or pundits just editors and journos - although bad hardly the scale of Leeds or Skates

is it worth going for this ex-saint for big lad up front http://andy578.fotopic.net/p66347301.html

Thanks, but I prefer to argue the football points - although find him way of the mark on that but thats opinion!

West Ham poll on radio before Grant had him as their 2nd favoured choice for manager. Boro were doing better before Strachan came in. Strange careers managers
-
I didn't think he was amazing, but steady, showed good decision making and a very good signing for this level.
-
this is the time for lower bids, there is not much money around football at the moment - clubs may have different views of any offer, if any, made when end of the window approaches and our money looks more appealing!
-
got feeling Pardew wanted play offs
-
I am. We have done very well in transfer market under NC and AP so far, very well. Most transfer activity is towards the end of the window. The loan window will also be a good opportunity for us - young prem players etc.
-
you are joking? just in case you aren't.. we have signed two RBs - I am sure no club in the division has more than two established first team level RBs. One was the best RB in this division last year. One was very highly rated for a team who were chasing play offs for much of the season in the division above us and played just about every game. Any other team is this league would be happy to have one of those - we have both - still a problem area????? Bizarre.
-
you shouldn't base too much on paper talk - we have also tried to sign all sorts of player!
