1982, last time skates were as low as us, in 3rd division - they averaged............... .....8,500! their best average in last 50 years was in 1968 with 22,000. They are both small in numbers and deluded! by the way their average most years in CCC or equiv (div 2) was about 8,000.

Lancashire and Wooton are there are 5th and 6th choice - prem sides don't have that many so shouldn't be required. Are you suggesting returning Trottman to sign someone - probably inferior? Perry should last if used as 4th choice! Disagree about Thomas, think he is more than decent CB for this league (and possibly CCC) so again as 3rd choice more than adequate. Would not be surprised if many promotion seeking sides would jump at Thomas -for first 11 let alone 3rd choice. Doubt very much whether the club see this as area needing strengthening - unless there is a gem available on permanent.

disagree, think the squad is well covered in many positions - we don't want/need a huge squad - more case of getting this one performing to its potential
