  1. only teasing - couldn't resist sorry! (did you see me defending you this week!)
  2. observations - An inference or a judgment that is acquired from or based on observing actually you can't!
  3. their shots were often pathetic, long range ran out of ideas shots that would never beat KD. We played the game out, rightly so - and wouldn't have done in the past, when having 2-0 lead so were not going to goal as much as am sure we would have been if 0-0. Spend about ten mins keeping ball in ole football!
  4. good, good for fans to be optimistic
  5. beat his player couple of times, made defender panic into giving away free kick in dangerous position when breaking at speed, two shots on target - one resulting in corner (possibly two) not bad for 20 mins! Not sure how well he will do but bit more positive than some drama queen who has never seen him play!
  6. think team at home ought to include Saga/Lambert Holmes or Mills/Scheiderlin/Hammond/Waigo Not very solid but attacking

    from another about crowds
  8. think tv will show 2 penalties.
  9. can't be bothered to wait for registration, anyone care to share for viewing only?
  10. loved one towards the end when he took the ball of a midfielders head to clear - and the player bounced away like he had been hit by truck
  11. thought Morgan did pretty well today. Comfortable win, all you can ask.
  12. how will our average attendances compare after next week? Even if they keep giving 1,000 away and kids for £1. Poorly supported club.
  13. Enjoyed the game, a lot of positives - not least the win. Goals were from penalties but we were more killing the game ( a good new thing) than really going for it once we were 2-0 up, so not too concerned. Defence deserves special mention.
  14. that'll do to start! 13th on current form, lets hope we can keep moving up that table - then come Christmas I'll look at the real one!
  15. I used to think alpine was a... well the worst poster on here and was regularly on my ignore. However think most posts are a lot more reasonable lately and others seem to want to rake up old arguements. There will be difference of opinions - accept it. Personally I look to see the views of those who attend away games as feel their view is more valid -as they have seen it. Doesn't mean I won't have views/emotions about the game. It is interesting, looking back over match threads, that those who go are often more positive are those who went, with more moans from those who don't. Guess thats understandable - if you are there you can take positive away from seeing a good run/good performance, if not it is likely to be more just about the result.
  16. I like Gillett and am surprised he has not played but remember where he plays (sorry sounds patronising not meant to!) Hammond is,rightly so, the first choice for central midfield at the moment IMHO. Gillett is too similar in style to Hammond and am not sure they would work well together - both sit deep and not the most creative. Gillett is not going to challenge like of Lallana, Mills, Holmes etc for a side role. so the options for Gillett's place are; Schneiderlin, much more abilty to run with the ball, turn, pass, shoot etc - but frurstratingly inconsistent. But does offer more of a differing style than Gillett when partnered with Hammond. James - probably more creative in his passing than Gillett and more likely to get into attacking positions. only other one I can remember considered for CM is Wotton - only reason he would get in ahead of Gillett for me is when we were lacking experience.
  17. season started a while ago, however I feel it is starting now, in earnest for us and we now have management and players in place ready to seriously compete - which I don't feel we did a few weeks ago. Happy?
  18. Good article. We are far from poor and clearly heading in the right direction. Happy we have the right manager, and can't see much he could have done better so far - apart from the important bit of winning! More than happy to 100% support him for a while yet - that is not to say I won't be p1ssed off and frustrated if we don't win Saturday.
  19. if failing is winning more than you lose or draw if failing is play off final in first season if failing is winning play off final second season if failing is new owners sacking manager in December of first season in premiership after bad run Then he failed?
  20. I am not saying our form has been good as it should be, I just think it is totally hysterical (not in ammusing way!) the way some on this thread and others are writing off season and not looking beyond the form. If the form continues all season then it will be a crap season. I am sure it won't. Charlton's manager said after the game not to look at Saint's league position as it is not a reflection on the team or how we will do, and a point was a good one for them. Still Glasgow Saint can take over soon and immediately guarantee 100% record - lol!
