Put this on takeover gossip thread but it keeps coming up on most threads.- Not sure if I missed it but I am not clear where it has been said that we will be wound up if not bought by Friday? This seems to be a common belief on here but I haven't seen it. My understanding is Fry said, last week "If towards the end of next week we are in a situation where no bids for the Football Club are forthcoming, I will meet with the Directors of the Football Club to discuss options." Which isn't the same as winding the club up. Have I missed it somewhere else? I personally do not think it is very likely, nor that it has been said, that we will fold -particularly with about £2.5m from DMG and Surman. Happy to be corrected, but think there is a misunderstanding on here that Fry has said we are folding this week unless bought - he hasn't.
-
forgot I still had to pay for that at some stage - paying usually long forgotten by time the season starts.
-
please, we don't mention them.
-
yes. We could remain in administration all season. if gates, sales etc keep the wages paid etc. With sales I do not think this weekend is a deadling - good news in that we are not folding but is their light at the end....
-
on the list of possible names, Wotte would be in the middle - higher than some touted on here,
-
I can't believe one poster is so against him! 12 month rolling contract is as permanent as most managers deals! Wouldn't be surprised whatever the new people do - gave him a go, or new bloke
-
what get hysterical posts on a forum?
-
simple - there is a meeting! That's all. They will then decide where to go.
-
why? its still held, isn;t it?
-
yea, what a ***** Wotte is - he missed out on Kaka and Ronaldo

why 2 days?

almost makes me want new owners to give him a second year!
-
Think it is good, and needed decision. 12 month contract gives him a bit of grounding to look to plan. Clearly new owners will review with their preference and budget.
