point is we got worse after he went proving those saying anyone would be better wrong. at any time since he has gone we would gladly go back to how badly we performed under him. this is why stability, knowing your owners budget etc are all factors, however, as above, have agreed with you this is time for fresh change - (although personally even with doubts I have over him, and the links to the past, I would probably go for him over some of the names that always do the rounds!). The is the simple point I was trying to make, sorry if it wasn't clear, - I wouldn't just sack him for the sake of it but would hope we could recruit better candidate. do you know how much we paid? its not the £1.2m figure you quote, guess the total amount would be reached on things like promotion or interniational games etc. Often quoted as rising to when just on appearances - this was only could rise to.

4 yr contract that could rise to 1.5 m euros. still only 19 with handful of first team games. won;t write him off yet.

possibly owned by group headed by ex-team mate. 32,000 seater stadium - likely to get 12k+ short term, good away support, history, publicity - much better on his CV. or stay with Exeter, highest crowd - 8,500, lowest 2,800, average 4,900.

think this is why people are so negative about him - almost as if he came along saying I can do the job Rasiak/John and Saga put together did you don't need them - he didn't. Don't blame him for them not being here. He is a half decent player and would be a loss if he does go.
